@Kalkas53 Ahh, wiring and rust. I had to get rid of a beautiful late 60's Volvo 4-door, looked like an old Rolls-Royce, cuz the brake lines and wiring were just too far gone. Let a refurbisher have it for a song.

my father used to have a 70's power wagon in hemi orange with wood bed and cherry bomb mufflers it was a true farm truck. it was loud and made it sound like you were doing 60 but only going 35. my mom got pulled over by the cop once but thankfully didn't get a ticket. it didn't have much power though since my dad bought it used from some idiot who did all sorts of stupid crap to it. seeing how it's role was a farm truck was not worth the money to fix it completely

In the snow, the thin tires are the way to go for sure, but only if you add some weight in the bed of the truck, something that won't bounce around. We always just used snow, then iced it down with the hose. Plowed snow for years with power wagons.

What was that truck used for when your grandfather had it? It would make a hell of a jitterbug. That's what most of those old 1-1/2 ton trucks ended up being used for. My father had one when I was a kid that he used as a jitterbug, built by White Company with similar 1940s styling (not a 4WD though).
