I was at this live it was awsome! It was at M.I.T. The Mythbusters are even funnier in person. They told some funny stories of things not caught on camera. If you have the chance definetly go see them.

Oh, you mean the one at 3.28? It's just there was a camera man between the audience and the ppl on the stage, so when someone from the audience takes a picture, it casts a shadow when the camera flashes.

It's actually the shadow of Jamie and Adam. Because you can see Jamie's barret and Adam's chair. So there is no ghost and that ghost would've been freaking huge.

Its not better then some other alternative like mplayer or Mediaplayer Classic.

In fact, vlc is bit worse then Mplayer Classic, because it has just to much shit nobody needs. And it sometimes screws up peoples Windows.

vlc won't screw up windows, only misusing it would ever cause that... VLC will play videos using a much broader range of codecs right 'out of the box' while Mplayer classic depends almost entirely on the codecs you install with it. As for the crap nobody needs, you're probably talking about the streaming parts... I use those to stream media around my house... not really what it was originally intended for, but it works quite well :-)

say what you want, but i've had better luck with MPC than VLC

...its good for previewing files as they download, though, and for playing video formats that i don't currently have the codecs for...but once you install the codecs, VLC's load time and operation can be so goddamn annoying that you'll never use it again

case in point: .mkv files...holy crap VLC sucks with them

the narrators change depending on the region. in the uk i no of 3 different narrators used for this show, i dunno hu records the voiceovers in america or anywhere else tho. He's different to the guy i'm used to aswell.
