@JosiahKim its quick a hot and cold build, if you are in lower leagues (since they usually have more rushing)

i would build up some defenses if you scout it, but if they are teching, then just do this build, it will be a bit late, but if done correctly, it with absolutely crush lower leagues, that or you can just take the risk and do it every game to work on it, and if they dont rush, you win, i know that was confusing, but hey, im only canadian :P

so like don't build units till 10 minutes on the game timer and expect to win consistently. ya ok. this build does not work day9. sure it might work in tourny play where this is the norm (conserve and macro) but on ladder this won't make you hit masters as zerg. you will get stomped by smart terran. example. Look at what the terran did with his siege tanks. horrible control man. they are left alone away from the marines unsieged on creep. can you say lol? this match is not a good one imo

Day9 SPECIFICALLY said about 10 times that this build is ONLY for a fast expanding Terran preferably on a large map like Antiga. You just have to keep an eye on the other guy and respond accordingly. It's not that you don't make units until the 10 mins, it's that you focus on drones and not on tech and only build units when necessary, doesn't matter what's the game time is - what matters is what the Terran is doing.

@anomolis Hmm i can see you either as a really low tier player or a diamond ish player that isn't quite masters yourself. Day9 is mostly correct. Zerg is a responsive race and normally you just want to defend what can kill you because late game zerg is pretty beast. If you are in masters you should know each game last approx. 25-30min in avg, cuz no one just straight out die that easily at mid-masters. And this way of playing is most powerful as zerg.

@anomolis To your argument, yes these plays are rather low level therefore many things can go wrong. But the playstyle is overall great. Like Day9 said, you gotta smooth all the bumps. Easy ones here he didn't mention is zerg needed way more aggressive scouting (suicide overlord, constant poking with zerglings to have better idea what terran's doing, etc), and later game transition. Just because the game isn't a perfect example of this style's greatness, doesn't mean it makes this strat sux.

A quick question. I tend to pull workers (P) like Xessi did that game, and I noticed when he went back to mine, 6 workers split and 3 went to each geyser. Is there a special way to get your workers to return to there last gathering spot or something along this line. Or must you manually select those 3 workers per geyser and do it yourself?

@Lithium58AUS k, lets say you have 20 drones, select them all and send them to the first geyser; then shift+click 3 of those drones so you only have 17 selected and send those 17 to the second geyser; then shift+click 3 of THOSE drones so you now have 14 drones and send those 14 drones to the minerals. make sense?
