So I started JC yesterday and got only 2 tokens and no recipes but 3 meta recipes I found at the AH. Should I save the tokens to 4.3 and buy epic gem recipes or get a good cut for 3 tokens and work my way up from there? The gem prices on my server (stormscale eu) is completely messed up and ranges from 1g to 16 for common and 3.5g to 35g for rares.
@MrNflow you need to do the daily quest in your factions main city. this will give you jewelcrafting tokens. these can be spent on new cut from the JC vender.
Ores on my server go for like 50-55g , and the commons are worth nothing, some are even 1g ;( . But the metas are outrageous:) . But your saying you have to sell each gem at 20g each .... not happening .
@ShawnL42 just craft the commons into Shadowspirit diamonds with an alchemist. Thats the only reliable use for them in my opinion. if the mat cost is so high but the cut cost so low then it wont stay that way for long. Nobody will sell at a loss for too long. check throughout the week and you will prob find the price shifts up and down quite alot.
@ShawnL42 if you buy a stack you will prob prospect it to get 1 rare and 5-6 common. if you can cut and sell the rare for atleast 50g you havent made a profit nor made a loss... but you still have 5-6 common gems.... repeat this process for a few more stacks and use the commons to craft into shadowspirit diamond and cut+sell them to make your profit.
@sigurogu buy up the ore at peak times, i can sometimes find ore for around 15g a stack at weekends. even @ 70g a stack there is probally still some profit to be made, as long as your careful to which gems you cut and sell. Plus Metas are you friend atm, massive proffit on them.
