*35ml shot x2 per minute = 70ml per minute

*6 hours = 360 minutes

*70ml x 360 minutes = 25200 ml

*25200 ml / 330ml can = 76 beers

*76 beers / 6 hours = 12 beers p/hour

When me and my crew went to Oktoberfest the record was 21 Steins in a day, thats 21000mls, still 4000mls short of what you can do. And that was done by my unit of a mate whos 6'6 and weighs in at 120kg, i managed 16 and was f%*ked.

That's (25*100)/60 or 2500ml (or 2.5 litres) over 1.67 hours (an hour and forty).

By UK rates (where a pint is 568ml), it's 2500/568 which is 4.4 beers.

By US rates (where a beer is usually served in 500ml measure), it's 2500/500 which is 5 beers.

At no point does that equate to 6 beers an hour. That's where people fall down in this game, thinking it's simple to down 4.5 pints in under two hours.

ok to clarify, 1 measure is either 25ml or 35ml in the uk, however most shot glasses hold more than that - I have an optic rail in my room and i just checked.

I filled up one of my shot glasses and tipped it in to an empty UK pint glass and it took 10 shotfulls to fill the pint. So 100 minutes = 10 pints.

It's deffinatly the volume of liquid that gets you not the amount of alcohol

What you've said is sort of true Brownlove but 25ml is 1 measure.. we were filling our shot glasses right up to the brim and 1 shot shot glass holds about 1/10th of a pint (I've just double checked usin a shot glass and a Carlsberg pint glass...) so in 100 minutes that would have been nearly 10 pints.

Besides that I sort of embarrassed myself because I'd just eaten a big meal so only made it to about 25 shots before I exploded. Fail :/

I think centurion is a great way to economically drink! It does get you totally hammered, but the drunken effect doesn't last long. All that makse it difficult is the fizzy build-up. I've never not managed anyway, and I've never been sick doing it either. Must be the hardened Orkney genes...
