My concern is with excess skin n since I saw in one of ur vidz ur 21 I was wondering wat its like for you?? I kno usually its a lot different for younger patients...hoping u can do a video on this or comment back soon. Thanx :)
Love the excitemebt in your voice. The most important thing that you said is that you have lost 80 pounds and you can do anything! My journey (I have lost 120 pounds so far) has been filled with me shaking up my routine by trying different things. My body definitely settles in and then needs something new to kick start it again. This 17 Day Diet could be that kick start for you. Can't hurt to try and if you don't like it, try something new. Just don't give up!
On Page 21 it says that "Protein is a powerful fat torcher".
Actually, protein consumption -- beyond the minimum needed by the body -- prevents a body from burning fat, since the protein is converted into glucose in the liver, and the presence of glucose stimulates the release of insulin which prompts fat-storage and prevents fat-burning. The only dietary macronurient that will stimulate fat-burning is fat itself. See Rosedale, Taubes, Feinman, etc., on this topic.
