we do the footwashing when we take our communion. It s a sign of humility, not us reverencing someone else. You should research it more... Ok, the 2nd speaker got it! LOL

I just thought it was odd thats all. He was talking like he just got in the church. I been knew what foot washing was. I think almost every church has communion. I'm sure Torrence been in church almost all his life. I just couldn't believe he didn't know what it was.
Every church probably does have communion BUT, it all does not consist of foot washing. When we do communion it's breaking the bread and drinking grape juice., in remembrance of Christ. Every church does it differently!!

Torrence i just have one comment for you, the feet washing is also from Jesus' last supper (the main example) with His disciples, that's in St. John 13. Where Jesus tells Peter that if He does not wash his feet, then he has no part with Him, He also say in vs 7 that Peter will not understand the significance of it now, but "hereafter" he will understand, so i believe it is with us in due time we will get full clarity but i understood it in another way when you guys explained it. When I was younger, my dad's church used to do communion and feet washing. I too NEVER liked the feet washing thing because some folk just don't care about the condition of their FEET! Congrats Torrence on getting rebaptized. I have been thinking of doing that too because when I first got baptizing I did not really understand what I was doing.
I just got rebaptize too. It felt so great. I though my church was the only church that wash feet lol The meaning of washing feet is so humbling. Love you guys and I will continue to pray for you guys.
