As well... all the commerical gasifiers seem to make a lot more power than 1kw... the lowest reliable one I could find was 10kw. Could you steer me to the right place? Thanks.
Crap... I'm looking for a wood gasifier that you can use cords of wood on... they all seem to take small pelleted stuff. I only want 1kw of electricity for my future home one day. :(
Is it cheaper than gasoline? How fast can your car go using wood fuel? What is the driving range without a refill? Does the fuel ever get "stuck?" How high maintenance is the system? Is it practical or just a hobby?

@vWBIRDWv We are using wood pellets, but you can use wood chips of any kind also, or any pelleted material like grass!

@BeaverEnergy what would happen if u added bitumin or turpentine to the fuel? would it be too sooty and not thouroughly burn?
