I am dutch and i drive a 2003 H2. Here in Holland the Hummer H2 2003 costs about

35.000 U$ Dollars in 2010. My H2 drives on petrol and LPG.

The interior is all plastic and that`s something we europeans not used to. But who cares?? It`s the engine that makes me glad even when the H2 runs 1 : 4 (not gallon but liter: so 1 liter brings me 4 kilometer far....but still: who cares...???)

I agree. I think hummer h2 would be better if they were duramax. I personally think they would do just a couple more mpg better instead of 13mpg it would raise it up to 15 or 16mpg. and diesels last forever. They are the best engines. they can go 200,000 or more and not have any trouble.

The hummer brand is terrible. 12.1 mpg out of a 6.0 L V-8 producing only 325 bhp? That is engineering disaster. The cramped feel inside, the cheap plastics used, the crappy body, and the underpowered engines are just little hints of obvious problems in a car that should never have been built. $65,000 with 11,000 in upgrades....What?... For a little more you can get something that is actually refined, elegant, not showy, reliable, and capable. Thats why i bought a Range Rover!

The Hummer has the best exterior design I have ever seen. Rugged, macho and in your face. I love it. The interior styling is a bit thick but I think comfy. Looks a bit dated and thats what lets it down a bit. End of the day. It works and has character. Thats why we buy cars as an extension of the personality. If I am poor I will buy a Micra if I was an eco warrior I will get a bicycle. IF I wanted to shove u in the face I go get a Hummer. Which BTW is what I would rather do.

I'm not saying that the Hummer is a good car and yeah, the Range Rover is better, but if you look at the 2008 version of the H2 you will see a remade interior plus a new 6,2 l V8 with with around 392 hp. (still not much from an even bigger block, but more power :P) It also has a six-speed gearbox and it should go about 10 procent longer per gallon...

I know it is still sort of a rubbish car, but I've always liked Hummers so I just thought you should know ;D

Your right, but that won't change my facination of these cars. Don't get me wrong. I'm a car fan, and know things about cars and I'm aware of the different technologies and so on, in the industry. There are just exeptions, where you try to forget about bad things like; poor handling, environmental issues and, for example, that a vehicle is based on a current, not up to date model. In those cases, even though you know that it is really not worth the money, you wan't one.
