  • Im about to start a nursing program for RN...Im nervous but excited. Im a mom of 7 with a husband but I want to change my life and help someone other than myself...keep me in your prayers cause I know its going to be a challenge.

  • @naytravelinthaworld Will do!! I wish you the best!! You can do it!!

  • i go to a community college for nursing (MDC) and we have clincals for the whole semester. i guess it depends on where you go. we differently will not be giving out meds. we will simply be taking care of our elderly patients (bath, and feed, etc). my community college also offer BSN. and you cant come and go as you pls. if you want a break from school then you leave the program and you have to reapply.

  • @roso614 over 1000 ppl apply and only 300 get in

  • I was wondering if you knew of any single moms that are nurses or in nursing school ? I need a little inspiration :)

  • @JustineAna Such a great request!! I'll be visiting home in november and just about all of classmates still live there and I went to school with a lot of single moms... If you can hang in there with me, when i go home I'll make some videos with them so you can get it first hand! I eveb had classmates who were pregnant while they were in the program!!! So give me until November, and I'll have some great videos coming your way!! Have you checked out NurseBrownSkin?

  • @Renee4christ That would be cool, thanks :)

  • I don't see the video for your "nursing school journey" is there one or were you just referencing all of your nursing journey videos ? !

    Thanks!

  • @jhmartin180 Yes, there is a separate video! It should be my second video I made titled, "My nursing school journey." Thanks!

  • @Renee4christ Hey Renee~ I went to your home page and clicked see all videos and your first videos were back 7 months ago and your second to last vid that I could see was "Looking back my road to nursing" I do not see "My nursing school journey" COuld you link me please?! Sorry I can't find it! :(

  • @jhmartin180 I'm sorry!! That is the video! I had it worded wrong.

  • I cant wait till I am where you are, I am hoping to get into nursing school next fall (ASN). I also want to get my MSN one day :)

  • @prettyE23 You will get there, just stay focused! I can't believe how fast it went by!! You can do it!

  • "With GOD all things are possible." I was an LVN for 23 years, I recently 3'16'11 obtained my Registered Nursing License(ADN). I got accepted in the University of Arlington (Texas) College of Nursing for my BSN, then I will continue with to grad school for my MSN . I love nursing and always have. I will tell anyone, don't ever give up on your dreams.

  • @Wogaa400 AMEN TO THAT!!! Congrats to you and I wish you the best!!

  • Thank you sooo much for this video, and your time and effort of answering my question! I really understand alot more better, since you broke it down. I decided I will start at jr college for 2 years then finish the last 2 or 3 at a university. I will be starting jr college this august going in for pre-nursing!!!!! Thank u soo much. Be blessed and congratz on you going for your MD!!!!

  • @JakiawasHere You are greatly welcome Jakia! Sounds like you have an awesome plan and I wish you the best! Let me know if you have any other questions!

  • congrats on starting your masters!!! i finished an ASN program this past dec and i will be starting an RN to BSN program in sept when i finish it will have taken me 10 years as well but i'm goin to just keep goin till i finish but if i could do it over i would have just went straight to BSN where i live that's what employers want

  • @deanna0384 Thank you so much and congrats to you!! I'm sure you are AWESOME nurse with all those years of experience! I wish you the best!

  • I got into a decent nursing school with a 2.7. I'm not stupid but I wasnt always the best student. THERE IS HOPE. People think they have to have a freakin 4.0 to get into nursing school but it ISNT TRUE. apply apply apply. if you have less than a 3.2 I would apply to 2 year programs then bridge programs

  • @Grace88Anderson You are right Grace and that's why I'm proud of ya :) Great job!

  • This helped me out alot:)

  • @MIZZGRANT09 yay!
