But some times during cqb excersises, I wish I had knee pads since kneeling on hard pavement or sharp rocky ground it can be a bitch. But for a forrest environment you really didn't need them, since the ground is soft (usually) if you know how to go prone even from running. ;)
What size is the acu top?? Im leaving for benning in a week with the nat guadr and they didnt give me shit so i wanted ot get a full acu before hand to wear there im 6' 7" 190 im not sure if i need the Large Long or XL Long

k dude let me help you out you probably dont run knee pads and elbow pads with ACU's but the pockets that are on the jacket that are kinka unoticable they are below the patch pocket well you can open that up and put a washcloth in there and it will work perfectly, with the knee pads I suggest you do the same

The only request I personally would have, do not claim to be in the service, which you did not once do in this video. One of my favorite things about the Army is the gear! let me warn you, if you use this as airsoft intended i understand, to make you a better airsoft player, lose the elbow, keep the knee pad, lose the neck straps, lose the huge vest and get a normal tactical act cross draw vest, and get a holster, lose the gloves not gonna help you in airsoft, it basically slow you down in need or access to stuff, and the most important thing of all never put load of useless stuff on your vest keep the simple. give you speed and you can get in the tiny places.
@xXSgtWolfXx they do sometimes when i tighten them down really tight and sweat a lot. usually i wear them a little loose. i need to get some of that no fog lens spray.
I know when I used to airsoft we would split teams to terrorist and military (any military) I don't support terrorism but for airsofting I always wanted to be on terrorist side cus I would get to use my ak74(which i sold to buy real guns now) but I would just run around with a russian tac vest,base ball cap,hoodie,jeans,and knee pads lol I hated being on military side cus I would have to throw all this shit on lol
its impractical for AIRSOFT but all very practical for saving your life in a combat situation which is what that whole setup is designed for anyway. Its not like ur rolling out of a fob somewhere in Afghanistan, ditch all the unnecessary shit lol
@vietnamguy1223 uhh, i borrowed almost all of that stuff from my dad, sry. but u can get stuff like that at army navy surplus stores and various web sites. just shop around. ask bastard airsoft about it, he's good with finding fairly cheep stuff online.
@43Rockett just did some number crunches didnt put in helmet but it cost me around 700 dollars this also includes oakley gloves boots and ESS goggles thats where it costs you alot the boots are 250 my rig was 160 not including pouches

@MvsicStvdio Cross Draw vest's are OK,but they're not the best. A good vest to get is a "metal gear CIRAS" vest.
And besides Cross Draw vests are over used and not even that tactical all you have on that vest is 3 mag pouches, a holster and one small admin pouch.
