Media in America plays crucial role in nominating/demoting presidential candidates. Its funny that society's decision is being shaped and made by media.

Honeydisa... I thought i was the only one who noticed the lack of real (in depth) news on US television.I call it pop corn news..i.e. entertainment and opinions being passed of as news and Americans don't seem to see through the smoke screen.The contrast between what you get in other parts of the world (BBC, Al Jazeera, et al) and the US is so obvious to any visitor.Pity they do not see it.

I must admit I agree with the other comment, I was in the States recently and i was horrified by the lack of in-depth decent news TV. I loved these too articles but too short....perhaps take less telephone calls so we can have more opinion from the panelists.
