Wow!...I really love this!!...you are very talented and I look forward to enjoying your other paintings!. Definitely a big wow factor here for me on this one. I work in landscaping and sometimes the last thing I want to see is a leaf!...lol...but this painting reminds me of one of the reasons why I wanted to be a landscaper....I love nature and different colored leaves!...lol...very beautiful work indeed my friend...very beautfiul! 5 pulsars for you!
I'm overwhelmed, thank you, I'm glad you like this idea with leaves. Landscaping?! This is awesome, yes, nature, green, flowers, this is for a person with a sensitive soul. Is a lot of work, I think, but when the job is done and look great around, satisfaction guaranteed. Thanks again for your kind message.
The leaves need to be dry and flat (mine were pressed for a few good weeks between a book pages), then glued with carpenter glue (the white one, type "Elmer's Glue-All" here in States. After drying (2-3 days better), brush the whole canvas with a creamy glue+acrylic white. Let it dry and is good to jump on it with colors. Let's do it !
yes Crissy, now it's on the wall, of course. I recall I had a thick book full of leaves of different kind, dry and ready for a collage. I think is not bad, the result, maybe the dominant color is a little bit cold and sad, but this is it, I just wait to see your collage as soon is done. Thanks for your comment, I'm glad you like the colors of this.
This is so awesome!!!
