Nmbenjam, You must be very proud of them. It's such a wonderful song. At some point I'll be posting one or two other versions of it so stayed tuned... Thank you for the kind words. Regards, J.
You are right...I am very proud! I have a 33-1/2 RPM album by RCA Camden of John McCormack singing Irish songs; one of them is my grandparents - "Little Town in the Auld County Down." It is the first selection on side one, but unfortunately there is a bad scratch. I am looking for a good copy. I know McCormack also recorded "Tumbledown Shack.." but I do not have a recording. Any information you may have would be appreciated. Thanks a million!
Nmbenjam, Yes he did, I have it someplace. I'll find it and post it for you. I don't know if I have a recording of 'Little Town...' I may have a more modern local recording of it. Stay tuned! Regards, J.
Algs229635, Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. The amberola 50 may not be as fancy as the earlier phonographs, but it has a full rich sound. Regards, J.

A great song. Not even Will Oakland could kill it. The McCormack version is superb. Thanks for posting both!
