How odd... 70,363 views. That's only -half- of how many times I have watched and re-watched this. Today :P
Absolutely hilarious. I love the song, I love the music, I love Dilly's piano work and all their silly movements. I squirm in my seat at how false and our of tune it is, and then I instantly press 'replay'. Genius.
@4BeastBoy - I have the sheet music, and it's priceless! First of all, it says at the top, "Music (if you can call it that) by Dillie Keane". And the score itself is peppered with double-flatted notes.
Dilly and Adele are genuius lyric writers - starirical. moving and screamingky funny. And Liza hasa fab voice. Come on girls, keep on "showing a bit o' leg" and givin' us some "smut". PXXXXX
so gemein - das haben wir nicht verdient, oder vielleicht doch...what about the winner of this years European song contest...not good?? Ok, ok, I admit - we are pretty bad when it comes to rhytmic feel and touch unless it is within a march - then we are quite exceptional. And German musical perfomances remind us most of all of an artistic excercise...but apart from that?? What about Bach, Schubert, Beethoven, Brahms, Haydn...? I am not falling for the MOZART trap - Austrian...gell
@Smoothways Don't worry too much about it - the song is most likely based on the trend set by Marlene Dietrich in Germanic singers of cabaret. Here in the UK, we still recognise the greatness of the old masters, and some of the new ones too, like Nena and Rammstein, heheheh.
@Smoothways Mozart Austrian? Parents both from Augsburg.(Bavaria)... he was born in Salzburg at time when it belonged to Bavaria anyway... so lets share, him, shall we?
To anyone that has any form of musical training or someone with a natural affinity... this is incredibly hard!
Very clever and brilliant ladies. :)

And people think Germans aren't funny. Clearly "The Underpants" wasn't just a fluke.

Am I the only one having this problem - the video freezes completely at about 0:04, and stays like that while the sound plays.

Anyway, my favourite composer EVER is Handel.

What an amazing idea she had to write this song!
She's a genius lyricist and deserves to be much more famous than she is. Easily as good as Tom Lehrer, who she admires.

@bundleHastings
Don't forget about Adele Anderson who writes more of the lyrics than most people realise.
