The Shape did represent pure evil not a kid that had it rough as a kid and takes revenge on everyone for his past by slaughtering people. I mean if people really beleive he was truly evil because he was born that way in the reamake that 's bullshit. It was very apparent he was a product of his enviorment plain and simple a typical serial killer with a mask and knife.
What made The Shape so much more terrifying was there was know clear cut answer he didn't have any real motive. Michael was just put on earth to destroy who ever in his past no matter what the cost. The most disturbing about it he came from a normal family in the orginal so there was no real motive just evil on two legs.

There is like, NO suspense compared to the original, it's just about gore.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE gore. But Halloween wasn't about the gore, it was about the suspense and mystery!

It's nothing like the original. I guess some could say that is a good thing but I, unfortunatly, do not like it.
I have a spoof of Halloween on my channel, if you wanna check it out anyone? We didn't have a mask so used sudacrem though. x]
But yeah, if you haven't seen the original this movie is great but I saw the movie a long time ago and this doesn't come close.

I was really let down with this movie remake . I was pumped for the release of this movie for over a year and it was a major let down . Stay away from remakes Mr. Zombie !!

The Shape did represent pure evil not a kid that had it rough as a kid and takes revenge on everyone for his past by slaughtering people. I mean if people really beleive he was truly evil because he was born that way in the reamake that 's bullshit. It was very apparent he was a product of his enviorment plain and simple a typical serial killer with a mask and knife.

What made The Shape so much more terrifying was there was know clear cut answer he didn't have any real motive. Michael was just put on earth to destroy who ever in his past no matter what the cost. The most disturbing about it he came from a normal family in the orginal so there was no real motive just evil on two legs.
