25 YEAR PHOBIA OF SNAILS AND CRABS CURED

i am TERRIFIED of snails. and i don't know why. like, if you were to put me in a room full of flesh eating grizzly bears, over one snail. id pick the grizzlies.

i am TERRIFIED. i cant go out in my yard anymore, i always have my head down to see where i step.

i cant even look at a PICTURE of them.

everyone shows me pictures to scare me, but i seriously am so scared.

i don't know what it is, their shell maybe? or the fact that they're so, just. snaily.

i don't like it -.- at all.

Nik also cured my fear of fish... it's amazing how much better your life is when you don't have a phobia... no one should have to live with a phobia!!

Slugs are almost even worst, since they have no shell so they are 100% slimey and shapeless. Plus some slugs grow to huge sizes. When I see that gross orange underside and that perverse breathing hole, It sends a shiver down my spine. And when i cross paths with one, i hesitate before stepping over it, i almost feel like I wanna turn and head back. So weird. And irrational. I kinda wish they were extinct. Sometimes I pour boiling water on them, and it feels gooooood muhahaha!!!

It's nice to know i'm not the only one. All my friends think it's strange and somewhat funny but I can't help being scared of them. If they are out of the shell and crawling around I'm not so bad and will occasionally touch them but the fear is always back the next time. It started because my nan used to chuck them at me over the fence when she was gardening...

I live in Jozie ( slang for Johannesburg) SA. I have a phoebia for snails i find very disgusting and i cant stand seeing them, they litterally creep me out.

You just need to close your eyes whilst someone talks you through the steps and you too like Maria can be cured. No one should have to put up with a fear like this and you dont have too.

i can.. i had them in france and they are delicious.. try them prepared with butter and garlic (i don't particularly like them with tomato sauce)
