  • Good to see Parkway Drive has an influence on this band!

  • average song... nothing special...

  • Yeah and Fuck Jesus it's all about the Jonas Brothers.

  • bmth can fuck off this is how its done.

  • Has anyone notice that Architects are basically Bring Me The Horizon.. but good?

  • @H4zM0n12 because bring me basically stole their styler after count your blessings haha

  • any band that puts jeigermeister in their vid this much is awesome in my book.

  • Parkway Drive shirt

  • @stefkex17 They were better years ago, and they WERE better than BMTH.

  • these sons a bitches got a fucking jager sponsorship? right on

  • @rm125racer06 That's not a good thing. They sold their asses out.

  • i really like the snowing addition :)

  • Fuck Oli Sykes it's all about Sam Carter

  • @HollyOMFG You do know that he is wearing Oli Skyes shirt right?

  • @ProphetBrohammed drop dead endorse architects

  • Parkway Drive FTW :D

  • Anyone know how Sam screams? its different to a traditional fry scream? tell me if i'm wrong, i don't know, i'm just interested to know

  • @Binxlo96 It's a type of screaming I think it's called "yelling". Oli does this in their more recent albums, Sam actually taught him how to scream like that

  • @ph1zzapwns @GarytheDuck1000 Shut the fuck up both of you, people are allowed to have their own opinion so be quiet and enjoy both bands.

  • @mike67098 Hahaha, good one. It's exactly what I was doing, expressing my opinion, just like he was, so no. You shut the fuck up, and let us have our opinions and our right to express them....Nigguh.

  • @Ph1zzaPwns What I mean is shut up about it, is this a BMTH video? No. So stop going on about them.

  • @mike67098 Well, using your logic. Is this a "tell me to shut up video"? No. So stop telling me to shut up brudda. :P

  • GET ME OUT ALIIIIIIIIVE

  • ima boy but i find the singer t-shirt badass :D

  • oh, drop dead shirt <3

    i love it.

  • hey fans, im just wondering i was watching some of their other videos so did they change vocalist? or their vocalist just changed his screaming style?

  • @crimsoninred Sam changed his vocal style.

  • @ElderwoodPWN5 you know most changes in the music industry is a bad change, but you know what for his case its really good, the architects before was a solid band but his vocals was a bit generic but this style is really great

  • @crimsoninred No change whatsoever, Sam Carter is just a brilliant vocalist.

  • @crimsoninred Their first album named '' Nightmares'' was with a different vocalist. You can look that up on wikipedia.

  • @UnQuebecoisBleu Wiki Lies!!!!

  • @crimsoninred In Nightmares, there was a different vocalist, Matt Johnson, and he left at the end of their Nightmares tour, introducing Sam through the song "Darkest Tomb" in their final set, and he then was the vocalist on Ruin.

  • @crimsoninred The only video with a different vocalist is In The Desert I believe

  • @crimsoninred they had a different vocalist for they first album and then sam joined and just had to record the lyrics of the previous lyricist. So when it came to writing again the band had evolved.

  • @crimsoninred Its the same singer since 2007 i think. He sings already on "ruin", the second album.

  • @crimsoninred I think on their last album (the here and now) he makes fry scream..not sure, but before that it sounds like he's just shouting (thats better i guess, fry is..boring).

  • @crimsoninred Not sure if anyone's replied to you yet, but if you mean in the past few years, Sam's been the vocalist and has been since the release of 'Ruin'. Otherwise, if you mean between Hollow Crown and THAN, it's the same vocalist (Sam), they've just altered their style and he's adjusted his singing a bit too:)

  • @crimsoninred Fuck knows Sam Carter is the shit. :D

  • @crimsoninred for their first album (a mini album titled "Nightmares") they had a vocalist called Matt Johnson. Since their 2nd album, they've had Sam Carter

  • @iamwarwick Their old vocalist-Matt Johnson is also now in a band called WHITEMARE- Who i suggest you check out.

WHITEMARE are made up of Ex-Architects, Johnny Truant & Centurion. They're sweet.

  • @crimsoninred change of vocalist to the current sam carter.

  • All I ever see on music video's nowadays is people bickering and bitching over BMTH or Skrillex.

  • @TheBrandonWeir I know! I love BMTH, Skrillex AND Architects. Can't we just stop being fucking ignorant?!

  • @mike67098 Apparently not in this day and age haha.

  • @TheBrandonWeir I know, it pisses me off so much, I saw Architects at Manchester Academy tonight, the support acts included the freaking class Dubstep DJ Tek One, and when they were saying to give it up for the support acts some of the crowd booed him, fucking faggots! :(

  • @mike67098 So lame!!

  • GET. ME. OUT. AH. RWAH!

  • love the PWD shirt ♥

  • Also, Skrillex isn't even Dubstep. Dubstep has actual bass. Skrillex is Brostep. Some Brostep can be amusing but it's hardly of high musical integrity. Digital Mystikz is the archetypal "Real Dubstep" band and they have way more atmosphere than those acts.

Dubstep is kind of aimed at people into dark electronic genres, reggae heads, etc.

Brostep is aimed at 50 Cent loving frat boys so they have some AGGRESSIVE MUSIC to listen to while they shout "WOOOO!", drink shite beer and play Ecksbocks.

  • @TakeshiAndTheKid stereotypic much??

  • @TakeshiAndTheKid wow dude, you're cool.. don't hate on skrillex just cause he believes in more than just bass.. actually hate all you want.. millions of fans must just have shitty taste cause you dont like them.. I'm assuming you're the music guru? dubstep is aimed at people who enjoy electronica in general.. its ok to hate though, just hate when you have sold out shows with thousands of people screaming your name.

  • @trevwood89 "Because he believes in more than just bass"? What? What does that even mean?

And yes, millions of fans DO have shitty taste. While taste in music is largely subjective, some people never move past what it is immediately presented for them so you can't say their appreciation of it is as deep. Acts that areheld in high regard within music orientated culture - for example Digital Mystikz within proper Dubstep culture - would be "good", regardless of how many scream their name.

  • @TakeshiAndTheKid Dude it's called melody.. just because a song has a lot of bass doesn't make it good. it just means it has a lot of bass.. I appreciate all dubstep artists, and yes some are better than others, but thats no reason to trash talk an artists just because he doesn't meet your specific qualifications.

  • @trevwood89 I wasn't aware Skrillex had melody in most of his tracks...

I didn't say the presence of bass mades a track "good". However dubstep is a genre that's driven by Bass.

I also don't like the talk of "Meet your specific qualifications". Some artists at the very least are more creative and relevant, and more highly regarded within the scene they emerge from. Skrillex is not one of those artists. I am not saying you can't enjoy him, but similarly, you have to allow people otherwise.

  • Things have changed though and it may be better to move towards a subscription based service. I actually like the idea of music being a free-flowing thing that is funded by gigs, merchandise, and "Optional" CD releases, and some bands do well that way, but it should be expected you support these artists in some shape or form.

I do agree buying albums isn't necessarily anything to boast about, those money is tight for a lot of people right now.

  • People do need to support their local artists. If you're not going to buy their CDs, then at least attend paid gigs, etc.

Go nuts with the larger artists, but even if you don't buy their entire back catalogue, think about picking up a couple of their releases at least.

Realistically file sharing tends to be a boost rather than a detriment to smaller artists - but only if people keep buying their stuff.

One of my favourite artists, Monica Richards, has been selling stuff to fund her album...

  • I <3 Architects and Parkway Drive!

  • BMTH can suck on my nuts

  • jägermeister :D

  • animosity is better

  • Drop Dead sucks balls. Poser stuff.

  • @thezenarcadian They only wear it to support Oli Sykes, since they're good friends with BMTH.

  • @shurikanslay3r But BMTH aren't metal. In fact, they're a face-reddening embarrassment. I came home from a metal festival here in Ireland recently, and on the bus home was the vocalist of the headliners, on the way to get a bus to the airport back to Holland. We'd a great conversation about shit like Isis, Neurosis and Irish doom-metal. Then a young friend of my sister's gets on. We were discussing old screamo and she butts in immediately with BMTH and immediately makes a fool of herself.

  • @thezenarcadian I never said BMTH was metal, only that Architects and BMTH are good friends.

  • @shurikanslay3r But any self-respecting metal outfit, like Architects were til this last album destroyed their hard-earned credibility in a hail of douche-water, would have nothing to do with these fashion-plates.

  • @thezenarcadian I wouldn't say they're an embarrassment of any kind. Their studio stuff is decent (to an extent, their first album was indeed pathetic), but their live performance is just so bad that I can't let it go.

  • @IAmProbablyMike I would say they are an embarrassment on a multitude of levels.

  • @thezenarcadian

Wtf.. They cant be friends if one of them are metal?

    Anyway I like them both

  • @thezenarcadian BMTH are good. They're good musicians, have amazing lyrics, a good live atmosphere.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW But they aren't, and they don't! Any asshole can grow a fringe, get neck-tats and print off zombie-kitty T-shirts for little boys and girls. As for musicianship, what little they have compared to, say, Protest the Hero, is wasted. And their lyrics... don't get me started. Shock value through the shit-filter of an attention-seeking scene-kid.

  • @thezenarcadian Really? Well their two completely different styles of music. I could say Lars is a basic drummer, compared to the others but his drumming suits Metallica.

Machine Head must like BMTH for wanting them to support them, and Machine Head are easily one of the best bands this decade.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW At least Ulrich has had a hand in writing decent songs. Nothing about BMTH looks like it will stand the test of time once Oli Sykes starts looking his age and the kidz lose interest. Because there's nothing to care about.

Machine Head were a great band in the 1990s and spent ever since coasting off it, with some awful results (The Burning Red). Putting BMTH on the tour made them look relevant to today's 16-year-olds. That was a marketing decision, not a sign of respect.

  • @thezenarcadian You just sound like some jealous kid who thinks he's cool to go against famous bands. There is a heaven is a quality album that will stand time.

Machine Head's newest album is amazaing. With devildriver touring aswell, it will be full of 25+ year olds.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW No, it's a matter of what's relevant - if I went against famous bands then why would I upload and use Black Sabbath as my profile vid/pic? Thing is, at least Black Sabbath were relevant at one stage - they invented the genre we enjoy today. What have BMTH done to bring music forward or evolve it any?

It's a pale imitation of their glory years, dude. And DevilDriver suck too. No-one over 18 is impressed by anything Dez Fafara has done.

  • @thezenarcadian And your favourites are full of TNA videos, so I had quite the laugh.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW And that was unrelated to the conversation - argument fail.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW As a bonus burn - Alesana and Emarosa are two of the worst bands I've ever had the misfortune of subjecting my ears too. Why do people do not do new things rather than doing the same old shit?

  • @thezenarcadian *to.

  • @thezenarcadian Cause your probably someone who thinks they're "old school" and into the good metal, when theres plently of metal now that is much better then 80/90s metal, and no you enjoy TNA, which makes you some childish man, who enjoys pointless shows, about men bear hugging each other in onesies and probably take pills NOT to get boners. Thats your opinion, I agree I'm not sure why I actually liked Alesana as they are pretty crap but Emarosa are decent,

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW No, i'm into good music. And there's plenty of awesome metal today, like Cloudkicker, Altar of Plagues, RITES, Bacchus, [r]evolution of a sun and the like. Try looking them up and getting out of this scene mentality.

Whether or not I'm into pro wrestling is irrelevant to a musical debate, though while we're throwing personal shit around, you look like the kind of lad that would enjoy exactly what you described, as opposed to athletic exhibition.

  • @thezenarcadian I'm not into any scene mentallity, I listen to a wide spread of music, I love Suicide silence, As I lay Dying, to A Skylit Drive to Korn to Skrillex, DatsiK to As Winter Burns White, My Bitter End. Hell even Black Sabbath where some of the first songs I learnt to play on guitar.

Yeah I love greasy men, in a fake sport, throwing me around making grunts.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW Yeahhh, brooo. I'M NOT INNA SCEEEENES! I <3 DEATHCORE AND DUBSTEP!!!

  • @thezenarcadian Lol. The only reason I like skillex is because I respect him, I love his work with KoRn, and I love his old band, I love DatsiK purely because of his Final Fantasy 7 cover of Jenova Project and his song Get some, as it's influenced by Duke Nukem.

Actually no, supporting bands is buying their merchandise or seeing them live, Bands get fuck all from selling records, Metallica has the best deal of around 10p per album sold. So they make very little from album sales.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW Skrillex is a whiny brat who hopped on a European bandwagon whose wheels fell off here when dubstep was heard in a Weetabix commercial.

That applies to bands on major labels, we're talking about bands that are truly independent and alternative, and do everything from records to PR themselves. Buying their vinyl, CD or cassettes can make all the difference to that band's existence and feasibility as an ongoing concern. Simple maths - shit costs money to make.

  • @thezenarcadian Trent Reznor is an amazing, influential musician, and prefers people downing his music illegally as you can grow a bigger fanbase, get more people to buy your merchandise and come to your shows.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW And that's why a lot of bands are offering their stuff up as legal free downloads, which is awesome and the basis of alternative music here in Ireland, but if the physical option is there, if you're a music fan, you're expected to support the artist.

  • @thezenarcadian Your as pathetic as you claim BMTH to be as your thinking the music you listen to is superior.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW There's a superiority complex and then there's hard fact. What did Black Sabbath, Bad Brains, Nirvana et al do? Invent new genres. Push themselves, their peers and the boundaries.

BMTH? Take the most superficial elements of metal, grind and hardcore, and weld them onto a baby-faced, piss-fetish marketing machine that dispenses handy-dandy uniforms for instant counter-culture cred! :-D Yeah, brooooo!

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW And now I've taken your road and looked at your channel, something I never bother with usually - your favourites are blocked up with Verb the Noun bands, Eminem and shit stand-up.

You've all the taste in culture of a dose of the shits.

  • @thezenarcadian Yeah because I don't have to youtube most of the bands I listen to as I purchase albums.

  • @AlesanaEmarosaFTW So do I - most of the bands I mentioned a few comments back release exclusively on vinyl. How else is anyone to get it? Purchasing albums is nothing special, dude, it's what's expected of you as a music fan, to support artists.

  • This video got my to buy that shirt... shame i bought it in too small of a size.

  • สักเพลง ก่อน ดูซีรี่ :))

  • do not compare this band to bmth

  • @fraggamer101 Yeah, Bmth are better.

  • @Ph1zzaPwns Are they fuck, bmth are shite, plus, if you have never noticed, Oli Sykes is a fucking dick.

  • @GarytheDuck1000 KK, baybi kakes.

  • @fraggamer101 Oli and Sam actually have very similar styles when it comes to music. They're also both british and good friends as far as I know, Sam was also in one of BMTH's videos so...yeah. I actually prefer Architects a bit more over BMTH though, just my opinion.

  • BMTH + ARCHITECTS = EARGASM!!

  • @skylinedrama = GAYGASM

  • @flop89 ur the one who's gay. lol

  • @skylinedrama Bmth is shit.

  • @igiabcdefickdich really? are u better than them that u say they are shit? fuck off

  • @skylinedrama 80S-STYLE MATHEMATICAL EQUATION COMMENT + SAYING THE WORD EARGASM = LAMEWAD

  • Jagermeister is not metal, fuck right off.

  • @thezenarcadian yeah its fuckin german and its fuckin tasty so fuck you

  • @MrMatt942 I hope they gave you a tenner to leave that comment. Advertising in music videos isn't metal, product placement in the counter-culture is bullshit and any artist that sells up that way can wave their integrity goodbye. That's if you know what integrity is.

"You can shit Mona Lisas from that point on but you've made your fucking choice." - Bill Hicks.

  • Sam Carter beats Oli Sykkes anyday because he can scream good live too and sing, and oli can barely scream live after count your blessings

  • follow the jägermeister

  • Me @ 28secs crowdsurfing!!

  • Comment removed

  • 48 people didn't follow the water.

  • anyone else think the bass on this videos weak?? :/

  • @TheJdog389 It's weak in the actual recording.

  • Good band to listen to when you're finished hearing complainers complaining. Ahhh. Bliss.

  • PARKWAY DRIVE :D

  • no u dont >.>

  • I miss the way Architects used to be....

  • The drummer is the only one with talent.

  • BMTH AND ARCHITECTS ARE MY FAVOURITE BANDS! THEY ARE BOTH GREAT! SHUT UP AND ENJOY THIS MASTERPIECE!

  • @ilikeheavymuzic135 They were kick ass back in April at Brixton!

  • does anybody else notice how the heavier bands nowerdays lack rythm? when i was younger and machinehead, underoath and from autumn to ashes. they were all heavy bands but they had ryhtm. im not saying it about this band in general but most new songs are over the top screaming and just thrashing guitars.BMTH are one of the worst for that i think.

  • @tubeXdivision it all sounds the same now :c I like bmth really. not a fangirl, cause oli really isnt "sexy" . and most of their songs give me a headache. when you hear bands songs that have no rhythm, you kinda give up on the band when you havent heard any of the good songs. i think every band has a good song.. to be honest. i really hate everyone bashing on all these bands.. i mean.. i hate to see it, i know everyone has seen their most favorite band talked down on youtube.

  • @RIPcaseycalvert911 yeah. i try not to moan at people about their music . everyone likes their own thing :)

yet i was standing at the bus stop the other day. and this man with a van was blasting music out that you could hear through the whole station.i swear that it was litterally, somebody hitting the double bass pedal, screaming and so on so fourth.that made me appreaciate bmth a little more :)

  • @tubeXdivision exactally, i like discussing things like this instead of fighting about it. its hard finding someone who agrees :)

  • @tubeXdivision yes i totaly agree but i would probably actually suicide silence are the worst

  • I love his T-shirt!

  • 1:53 <3

  • uhh... i love BMTH and Architects...

  • @melluny97 Most people don't like BMTH because they are always changing there sound to what ever is Big, that and always has quite a reputation for being a grade A douche canoe. That being said BMTH really isn't that terrible just more Oli bad rep.

  • @melluny97 please dont compare BMTH to Architects... its just wrong

  • @covertopskid Well, I don't like BMTH, but i saw them live with Parkway Drive and Architects and I gotta say that they sound a LITTLE BIT similar live.

  • whats with all the BMTH hate? its the same hind of music, i dont wanna sound like a 2nd grade teacher but why the fuck cant we all get along?

  • so what if the band members are wearing bring me the horizon clothing lots of bands do :) and there bound to sound simlar there the same style of music and oli and Sam are friends so cut out the hate

  • I do sams little dance at 0:16, 0:20, and 0:24 at every show, and so far i've smacked 3 people and kicked 4 :p I feel bad but I really get into music

  • pause at 0:16

  • WUOLD TOTALLY LOVE TO SEE Architects and The Circle Ends here LIVE! :D

  • whats with all this BMTH hate?

  • @rapsucks2471 i know right?!?!:/
