To all those who are nagging at her: She didn't choose to be born that way, and neither did anyone who is transsexual. It's not just a lifestyle, it's a necessity. I am transsexual myself, so what? Nobody should live one's life in the wrong body. Just think about it for a minute. How would YOU feel if your mind keeps telling you you're a girl while you're body always reminds you you're a "guy"? It can drive people insane. Not her, luckily, because she got treated soon.Just leave her alone.

Imagine If you were a guy and started growing breasts and you voice remained at a high pitch or if you were a girl and you start growing a beard and you couldn't wear makeup or the clothing you want to wear. Actually, because she started taking hormone blockers at such a young age, and has gone/will go directly onto female hormone injections, she will never 'man out' as you so bluntly put it. She will not grow facial hair, her voice will not deepen as a boy's would, and her adams apple will remain the way it was when she started hormone therapy. She will continue to mature as any other girl going through puberty would, except of course, she won't get periods. Do your research.
