@bcolohan123484 man i wish people would stop saying that. the freedom tower will be built even if u dont like it. i think its way prettier than the world trade center. the world trade center looked to simple. but i do think that instead of one they should build two. it would be like a modern version of the world trade center

MAKE UP UR MINDS ALREAFDY! by god! they started in late april of 06 and they then said it would complete by 2010 and were here in 10 and they started saying in 07 hat theyed finish it in 2011 and then in 08 claimed by 2010 theyed finish it and last year claim that it would finish it up by 2013 and as of march 8th 2010 they have only got to the middle of the 7th floor and on auguest 28th new york times said that due to poor work it wouldent finish untill 2018!?!?!?!

@ECW654 People in new york should march in front of the construction site and peacefully protest until they get serious about this - the burj dubai in the UAE was being worked on and having -6 floors a day- done with 24/7 construction period.

It still doesn't look right, nor does it seem like a fair representation of what the new WTC should be. In fact, I don't know too many people, from what I've heard, who like this design; I heard in one poll somewhere around 75% of New Yorkers disapprove of it. It's not a bad design, but then it's not beautiful or anywhere close to the landmark they're trying to force it to be either. To bad they can't start over. Here would've been my vote: a gleaming Burj Dubai.

At this point its better than that big gaping hole 9/11 left behind. As long as something is rebuilt there and we as a nation can finally close the book on a horrible event,, I'm fine with whats being built there.
