Thank you so much! I'm glad I didn't break it open before I learned to jack open that panel by pushing down on those tabs! Now I can replace the housing on my handset and auction it on ebay... :)

it does'nt for me, I removed all screws but the tabs are stick in place. Can anybody help me ?

Very good, thanks, however, at the beginning the voiceover states "Blackberry 7800g", a slip of the tongue of course, but could be confusing. Thanks again for the post.

i wish i would have seen this before my experience. the ribbon i pulled out without lifting up on the release....anyone know how to fix?
