    Thats how they prove skills?

  • @RetraGamer It's zoning bro, zoning. Anyways, in those days, there isn't much melee skill sets that are good enough to completely destroy someone. So yeah, HADOUKEN! :D

  • @Alexwkj :)

  • haduken, haduken, haduken, haduken.

  • So which one was daigo?

  • @Shanks111223

the orange ryu. the one that says "ウメハラ" (umehara)

  • Before the super and overhead :-| vs :-|

After the super and overhead :-| vs :-|

The screamers and yellers from XBL could learn something.

  • Thats the miracle? anti climax much

  • 2:24 for the miracle

  • hahaha thats hilarious. that dude tried to wait out the round to win and got punked bad.

  • if you know what you are doing like this guys then YOU HAVE to spam hadouken noob !!

  • SPAM-DOUKEN !!!!

  • To his opponent, the day daigo performed that miracle was the most shocking day of his life.

    To daigo, it was tuesday

  • @thepsychoripper haha good one

  • Wow, if I lost like that. I would tear my hair out.

  • Just a normal gameplay for Daigo :)

  • this game really needs a focus attack, would stop the fireball spamming a little :)

  • @PhoenixRisen7 Ur dam near 20 years late. Focus attack doesn't stop spamming. Parrying stops it.

  • @SuperiorWare i didnt play SF3 long enough to get good at parrying, but yes good too. FADC does help but you wouldnt think so if you look up Daigo VS Lamerboi at Evo on SF4, serious spam-fest and one of the worst matches to watch ever. I know its a high-level of skill but spamming projectiles just seems such a joyless way to play. I am just an average-player and i dont see the need to spam projectiles.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 i just want to have fun and actually feel like i've been in a fight. I'm not slagging Daigo off btw - i think he's a great player. but I often think there should be something in the game to stop spamming. maybe limit the number of projectiles you can fire in a match or damage goes down the more you use them?

  • @PhoenixRisen7 There are so many counters to the haduken spammers. Even the good ones.

If you complain about it you don't know enough counters. If the sound bothers you, play with it off.

  • @wtfdudenotcool101 i agree with you, but watch this video, there's a lot of 'spamming'. These are the best players. Yes its sensible and high-level play, but if you went to a boxing match and the two opponents threw stones at each other for 50% of the time you wouldn't think you had seen a good fight. Personally i find it joyless to do and also joyless to play against. It's fine if other people disagree. we all enjoy different things i guess.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 That kind of comes with the Ryu mirror match territory. Most mirrors are super boring to watch.

  • @d3nyd you could be right i havent watched many mirror matches between top players. i've had some good mirror fights myself with Ryu and Ken matchup though in SF4. sometimes they can be the best because everyone knows Ryu and Kens moves so you know how to attack and defend against each other.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 dude, boxers also dont throw hadoukens.

  • @GurUmatazZ yes but boxing matches would suck if they did. Also..... in real life you could just side step to avoid one.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 in real life you have to anticipate something to sidestep, if you sidestep and the opponent has a rough shot at where you're going you're caught off guard. you're not gripping this game tech kid just gtfo before you hurt yourself practicing gutshots in the mirror.

  • @GuitarGasmProduction er... its pretty easy to react to hadoukens... you sidestep after they are thrown not before. much slower than a punch. not sure why you are comparing them to gunshots? bullets travel faster than speed of sound.. you know when a hadouken is coming when your opponent takes that stance.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 i didn't even compare anything to gunshots what are you even saying? UFC doesn't allow fighters to throw stuff at eachother because first of all, they can't jump 7 feet in the air to avoid it, and second of all they wouldn't throw it at a velocity of 3 feet per second, but as fast as they fucking could. since hadoukens fly at about 3 feet per second varying on the kind of hadouken you use (there are 4 types, which you probably didn't even know) and you can jump over it it's called

  • @GuitarGasmProduction tactics, ryu alone has 4 different kind of hadoukens, this creates mixup, but all you're seeing is a hadouken. when there are 4 different hadouken properties to each hadouken version you never fully know how one is going to react. you only see one thing because you don't know jack shit about what you're saying, there are so many different factors weighing in just for hadoukens alone that a whole match can keep going like this if both players are zoners.

  • @GuitarGasmProduction regardless of why or how they are doing it, they are still doing the same move every second of a match maybe you like that, i don't. Capcom doesnt either. A lot of the extra features in SF4 were *specifically* introduced to stop/reduce these kind of fights, they have been at least part successful. As you will know you don't *have* to fight like that all the time. watch some of the other top players and see.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 well yes i do agree it can get rather boring though, and the streetfighter progress is good in all that i would definately agree SSF4 is my fafourite fight game

  • @GuitarGasmProduction yes mine too, best game ever in my opinion, never played a game for so long, so regularly before.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 then i hope you can agree that fighting games have come a long way since this era. this might seem to be a hadouken filled battle but if you watch closely only a few situations really appear, hadoukens are countered with a hadouken, someone safejumps it perfectly, or counters it with supers. this needs an incredible talent in reading opponents and thus this is still strategically a very difficult game to be very good in. the hadoukens also come out a hell of alot faster here.

  • @GuitarGasmProduction I actually think fighting games were better back then.

  • @GuitarGasmProduction this discussion is getting weird but the point i originally made was that UFC, boxing, muay thai. would suck if they just threw things at each other from across the ring for 60%-80% of the fight. you are of course free to disagree with that but that's my opinion.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 the fact that you think a gutshot and a rough shot is gun talk says enough about your fighting knowledge, like i said. go practice in front of the mirror please.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 You think they should give characters projectiles that allow them to zone and control space, and then discourage them from and/or penalize them for actually using them?

    Um... no.

  • @LyfSukz with my idea you can still use the projectiles but just not throw them every second of the match. i think its a good idea. i'm guessing that you are a bit of a spammer then? :) with my idea you could spam or zone for a while and then get in close and do some actual fighting. you never know you might enjoy the fighting part too.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 Please refrain from trying to tell us what should be done w/ Street Fighter based on your limited understanding of how to play the game.

    Your idea is bad.

  • @LyfSukz i have to say that you have really convinced that my idea was bad with that well thought-out and intelligent response.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 Perhaps your chances of being convinced will improve once your skill does.

  • @LyfSukz @LyfSukz funny how people try to troll when they run out of arguments. Watch this: Daigo Vs Lamerboi Evo2010 /watch?v=7xYLVD379aI (71 projectiles in 66 seconds) and no most of the top players dont fight like this - I watch a lot of fights.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 You think you're showing me something new here? Do you feel accomplished for counting the number of projectiles thrown?

Did you happen to notice that this is SSFIV? Did you know that a lot of characters have answers to projectiles that aren't projectiles and help them get in on projectile characters? Do you understand that this means that throwing projectiles w/out thinking about it will get you blown up? Zoning against these characters entails proper positioning.

  • @LyfSukz er.. i only counted them, its not hard to do! you keep trying to educate me in SSFIV but i know why they are doing it - a point i already made in my very first post on this video. My opinion is that if you have a fighting game where people are doing more 'shooting' than actual fighting, that is not desirable. It should be more about the fighting in my opinion. with my idea you can still do a lot of zoning, but just not fire a projectile for evey second of the match.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 you have the typical retard american point of view. just want to see action, not strategy.

  • @sagatbalrog not at all, i like strategy. i just like people to mix up their strategies.

  • @sagatbalrog watch this fight /watch?v=jkRhcau_fxM i like this fight because R.Hart decides he isnt going to spam projectiles back the whole match. and actually punishes Daigo for his (in this case) predictable hadoukens.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 He punished daigo like one time. after that they both used the same amount of projectiles. If people can't stop daigo's projectile spam then they don't deserve to win. It's like telling gsp to not do anymore takedowns because its boring to some people.

  • @sagatbalrog more than once in total though - at least 2 focus attack absorbs followed by throws and quite a few jump-in attacks too. Hart is not predictable with his projectiles you will notice. It is pretty boring dealing with spammers though. i have had almost 1100 online fights in SF4 and i would say only met about 20 spammers in all that time (seriously!), so they are definitely in the minority. The people on there now in AE tend to be the more dedicated players too.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 Would you agree that daigo would kick your ass? He'd probably beat you with all perfect rounds.

  • @sagatbalrog yes of course!

  • @PhoenixRisen7 Do you see who these 2 are fighting as? Their counters to projectiles are their own projectiles. This means they have to get in behind their projectiles if they want to get in safely. So they have to win the projectile war. You see projectiles and you just think they're throwing projectiles. You don't see the zoning, spacing, pressure, baiting, and reaction that's really going on. BTW, that's how we know you're terrible at Street Fighter. Stop embarrassing yourself.

  • @PhoenixRisen7

You obviously suck ass at street fighter.

A good player doesn't lose to a hadouken spammer, only scrubs do, they are easy to counter.

They are mainly useful for zoming and baiting purposes.

  • @BlackHairedGoon yeah you are right i obviously suck ass at streetfighter *rolls eyes* how many fireballs projectiles do you fire off per round on average? give me a rough figure please.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 lol, i don't see where you're getting at. isn't the point of a boxing match to get as many punches in while taking the least? isn't muay thai about constantly pressuring your opponent with the moves you're capable with? if you step into a UFC cage do you stop throwing right jabs just because you used them too much? no, you beat the fuck out of your opponent if it works, and if it doesn't work you use it as another option if you see it as an opening. stop whining bitch and get out

  • @GuitarGasmProduction you are talking about punches/kicks. but imagine if they could throw things at each other in UFC, muay thai or boxing. and then they stood accross the ring the whole fight throwing stuff at each other. Is that what you would want? In street fighter i have no problem with people throwing stuff at each other - just not for the whole fight. I would say in any game where you keep repeating the same move - it shows a lack of imagination and skill.

  • @PhoenixRisen7

Enough to zone them and to get them where I want so I can leg sweep them or anything similar.

    lrn2streetfighter

The hadouken is bad to actually damage, it is much more useful for zoning techniques.

    *rolls eyes* (derp)

  • Comment removed

  • @BlackHairedGoon then my idea would still allow you to fight exactly the same as you do now. so i dont see the problem.

  • @PhoenixRisen7

True, but I don't honestly see why the system needs changed.

As I said before, the hadouken isn't that effective to actually damage someone if you know what you're doing.

    Good day.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 and an average player you will remain.

  • @123eldest troll

  • @PhoenixRisen7 ok... and an average 'troll' you will remain.

  • @PhoenixRisen7 Every character in the game has a special move that allows them to pass thru fireballs....

  • @RoDiggityDangit18 well whatever it is Daigo and the other guy (?) don't seem to know it

  • is it considered racist that i have no clue wich of these guys actually is daigo ?

  • who haves the deadliest disease? i wonder...

  • hadouken

  • I was waiting all the time to see who wins. Finally Than both have same health and the commentator sais Ryu wins. who the fuck won?

  • @TheDragonkingboss YOU ARE RETARDED

  • @DanceLikeANitwit

Maybe I can´t see as good as other people because I have Amblyopia. But that doesn´t mean you can call me retarded. You probably are retarded because you do such things.

  • @TheDragonkingboss I HAD ULCERATIVE COLITIS FOR 6 YEARS, FUCK YOU BLINDY.

  • @DanceLikeANitwi You deserved to die. And don´t write in big letters. It still doesn´t look like you are intelligent. So just die and leave me alone.

  • @TheDragonkingboss Yeah 13 year olds sure do deserve to die, whaaat. That shit is cold bro.

  • @DanceLikeANitwit You called someone who has problems with his eyes blindy and retarded, that´s not cold right?

  • @TheDragonkingboss Exactly.

  • "Daigo Performs a Miracle " that title is so awesome, looks like Daigo is fucking Jesus

  • ISMACKDATSMUKEN!!

  • I like the part when he said HADOUKEN!

  • Daigos opponent was "Umechin"

  • boring

  • I realize its zoning but its still really stupid

  • @TheElephant2009 i like to call it "SOME MUCH ZONING!" hey seriously though nothing wrong about it during that time but the the fact in vanilla sf4 where its still abusable. no man. capcom you need to move foward not backwards.

  • @martinithechobit

I won't lie, I miss the heavy zoning aspects of SF2 And SF4. I enjoy fighting against solid zoners and playing as a zoner myself.

  • @martinithechobit

The problem is that they pushed it too far in the other direction and now zoning is next to useless in AE. It's all about rushdown, rushdown, rushdown. They said at the start of SF4 that they wanted it to be more about reacting to your opponent and not blinding offensive pressure. That's what the vs. series is for.

  • Ugh I'm glad Daigo won, I hate to see cowards run away and pull the win.

  • @nevrest Trust me, Daigo woulda did it to him.

  • Daigo is the biggest Ryu spammer of all time

  • @eurologic its called zoning

  • @eurologic dat eurologic

  • i knew ryu would win :)

  • Those are actually live camera feeds of Daigo and his opponent.

  • @WackaPacManWacka ok, u deserve a medal

  • @WackaPacManWacka hahahahahaaha, they be sittin still as shit, ahahahah

  • @WackaPacManWacka

    So...lifeless xD

  • The only miracle I see here is that a cheesy desperation play actually worked. I concede that the loser deserved it, though, for running like a bitch.

  • Now I why the fireball fake isnt in Street Fighter 4 LOL Even without it Daigo makes nigga wanna jump jump,Busta Bust niggaaa =D!

  • long story short, Ryu wins.

  • fucking clutch move by daigo

  • same name daigo... umehara daigo is the one who perform a miracle..

  • the one on the right pretty obvious

  • cause he's 20% life on the last round and do an overhead which makes him win the round just 2sec before the round ends.

  • @ethiotoronto

Daigo always chooses the brown ryu costume for SSF2T

  • @cowboynemo

    Yup, Start Button Ryu.

  • Daigo stayed so calm...
