I just got the ultimate edition and I have a question. Is this dlc easy enough to start with before the rest of the game? Please reply because it would be awesome if I could get these amazing weapons and armor before the main quests.

@Thyretify around level 10 would be a good time to start. But playing through this dlc would be pretty hard if you play it on a difficulty harder than normal. Look up the infinite ammo glitch on Anchorage, its super simple and really helpful

@N11Ckk123472 Thanks, but I decided to do this at a higher level. (after completing broken steel so about 20) I checked the glitch and it helped a lot (that and the unbreakable gauss rifle wich you can bring to the real world:)

I was surprised you didn't need power armour training to use it first. So I could wear any power armour after that :D

@elitegamer998 Yeah, if you put a dead guy (there is one behind the locked door next to the simulation room) in the simulation pod in the right position and when the chinese commander dies you keep looking down and pressing the action button when the loading screen pops up and you will enter the bodys inventory where you can put everything and it will come with you into the real world. Tips is to bring the gauss rifle and save before you make the commander commit suicide.

i have both. i have beat them both. i sided with the brotherhood of steel on fallout 3, but on Fallout NV i went with ncr. didnt like them in Fallout NV that much :P. but I did help them just to get power armor training.

@crimson1667 Outcasts arnt in the BoS. They left. And the Mojave BoS is part of the BoS and so is the Capital BoS. They are both on the main page for the BoS on the Fallout Wiki.

@killersullo see if you go through the dialogue of the outcasts; they say there doing what the BoS objective was originally and say that the BoS out east dont know what the capitals chapter of the BoS are doing therefore the BoSO are pretty much BoS...atleast they stay loyal to the out east chapter and i dont rely on wiki's since they can be changed

umm idk what its like for everyone else but since i was over-encumbered, i left and went to my megaton house to drop stuff off then went back to get stuff i couldn't hold, but when i went to the elevator that brings you down, the elevator like goes down halfway and stops and traps you inside it. so im saying this as a WARNING....you may get trapped and have to go back to a last manual save because the auto save makes you load in the stuck elevator. SAVE BEFORE RE-ENTERING! (just incase)

@japsen3 A Gauss Rifle is a very powerful, single-shell weapon. It uses MF rounds and is extremely powerful, it comes attached with a scope.

It's possibly the best weapon if you have 100 Energy Weapons skill.

This requires a DLC, though.

Grab the Winterized Power Armour, it has 14 + 10 million weapon condition health, basically, you don't have to repair it too often.

@jeffmusselman With the Stealth Armor and a few hockey masks you can do a glitch that raises your unarmed skill such that the Power Fist does 2000 damage. All you have to do is wear the CSA and put on one of the hockey masks. Then repeatedly equip the other, but don't remove them once you've attained the ridiculous damage.
