The good thing about Nascar is that it focuses on it's fans. Drivers will come out and meet the fans, enjoy a conversation with them, and are actually really kind. Heck, the reason they have oval tracks are so that the fans in the stands can watch all of the action, which is the major downfall of most Motorsports. so, I have to respectfully disagree with your comment about Nascar Derek, It's not my favorate motorsport by far, (Formula 1, ALMS, British Touring Cars) but it is enjoyable.

I bought this for 20 new and I actually like it. Derek is playing this pretty bad in the video. The game actually is a bit challenging and that is what makes it fun. There is a bit of strategy involved. You try to get "votes" which are basically points by hitting other enemies and driving through those colored lights. The more votes you get the faster you unlock nitro,missiles,mines, and the ram ability. Then the more votes you get the more they get upgraded.

@Lazyhoboguy The game requires you to drift and use your nitro frequently if you want to win and I enjoy that challenge. I also think this game is more than a mariokart knockoff and actually is sort of unique for a kart racer. It combines a lot of different racing styles into one game. I bought Blur at the same time as this game, and I actually like Jimmie Johnson's a lot better. I'd say that if you enjoy Mario Kart or Jak X Combat Racing you should try this game out.

Derek ur an idiot. Its actually an art form wit mad strategy takin left hand turns for 3 hours. Tony stewart is about the only successful open wheel driver to cross over. Many drivers would for the money but havnt the skill to drive stock cars and there is about 1000 times more passes in nascar then F1 or indy/champ and way more wrecks with less consequence. WWE is way more redneck to me and I'm a yankee liberal fyi

@ZJtraylor I hate Nascar too. But it is a sport, it takes skill to drive that fast for that long. The drivers have to compete against eachother, your pit crews compete against eachother, the fact that it is not random and the outcome depends on the actions and skill of the drivers it is definitely a "sport". It is boring to me and a lot of others but is DEFINITELY a sport dude. Just like alcohol and caffeine are technically drugs, Nascar is technically a sport.

Derek I'm gonna be honest, when I watch a review I want someone's opinion on the game, not someone's opinion on the sport, I'm not that huge of a nascar fan but I have respect for them and saying everyone who watches nascar is a southern hick is downright wrong, still a good review.

I honestly like games that are willing to throw a steep challenge my way. At the moment, we are living in a disposable society. The fact that this game is challenging tells me that the developers wanted the consumer to learn how to play the game. The fact that the visuals are good and the game play looks solid, I think I will give this game a go.

I hope you're being facetious about NASCAR not being a sport. There's no way a basement dweller like you has the physical endurance, reflexes, or technical skill of even a pro go-kart driver.
