um no this isn't fake this is official. It's from the Final Fantasy novella "On the Way to a Smile: Case of Tifa". These events take place before Final Fantasy VII Advent Children.

I think It's meant to be Aeris/Aerith "loves" Cloud because of how much he reminds her of Zack...Tifa we all know loves Cloud and Cloud doesn't have romantic feelings for either of them.

I played FF7, read "The maiden who travels the world" - OAWTAS-Case of Tifa, watch AC complete and I believe that even when making ff7 original game's content, SE didnt make things like "A love B, but B love C not A" etc, and they will never ever let us fans stop arguing about that. 'Cause if they make "Case of Cloud" then DONE, we'll have nothing left to disscuss about and so on FF7 will be forgotten gradually.

I also do belive that SE did make their characters have feeling toward each others, just not as obvious as we want. But in the two novels above, since they had to speak up each characters' voice, things get a little clearer and this is what I concluded myself:

- Aeris had feeling for Zack, but after years heard nothin from him, she was attracted by Cloud, first because he reminded her of Zack, but later she did fall for Cloud for his own personalities.

- Tifa : obviously Cloud is her only one

I get so upset when people keep saying Cloud loves Aerith, he doesn't. Is she important to him ? YES of course, but what he feels isn't love, its never directly said in the FF7 games or movies but it isnt really difficult to see. What he feels is simply the after effects of his actually believing he was ZACK, it stuck with him. Tifa has been his love since they were children. They just can't express it. Aerith & Zack, Cloud & Tifa. End of story.

Tifa is my all-time favorite FF female character. She's been there for Cloud everytime he needed someone and he still doesnt seem to appreciate it (he does but in a wierd way). Well, I used to love Clerith but after I knew the Zack and Aerith's relationship I hated the fact that Cloud had stolen his bestfriend's girl. I think he had a crush on Aerith in Final Fantasy VII but most of all he was full of guilt for her death but at the end of FFVII his pain is almost over and in advent children he has totally forgiven himself. Tifa and Cloud have a more complex relation ... they love each other in all the possible ways which is almost more powerful than being only lovers

@havoClinK It's debatable since it's never stated or made explicitly clear whether they do or don't share a bed. However, we are told that Tifa waits for him to fall asleep, and it's also implied that she waits for an answer until the morning (or at least even if she had waited she wouldn't have got one). What's more, her moving from her own room/bed or whatever to wait/listen for him to fall asleep and talk is never mentioned or really implied at.

At one point, Tifa tells Cloud to go drink in "your room". If they share a room, it'd likely be "OUR room" instead. Also, Cloud's office(probably his room), according to AC, has a bed. I assume he sleeps there. Back to Cloud/Tifa, since there's no setting or time frame, Cloud could have been napping on a couch during the middle of the day for all we know, or, heck, maybe even passed out on the bar counter since he's been so angsty. Who says the scene took place in a bedroom?
