  • ite really sad how how the so called civilized people have double dealing they never talk about the HOLOCAUST. of native aboriginals, native Americans and the nama people of the namibia who were killed . we only hear about the JEW HOLOCAUST. DOES IT MEANS JEWS PEOPLE ARE MORE THAN HUMAN BEING. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FAIR ADDRESSING OF THE PAST HISTORY

  • @kamonya2 It is sad. My GGrandmother was full cherokee, ist really showed in my dad and sister and his dad. I feel scheated not knowing more about my ancestors. I have a love for the earth and animals and Spirit I know came from her. I am not some kid with a romantic idea. I am 62, and a g Grandmother myself. Bad things have always happened, I believe the circle of life will bring good things back to the cherokee people. We need to be ready, not just angry. Live well,

  • i wonder which God EARLY MOST OF THE MISSIONARIES brought to America, most of the Europeans used ethnic cleansing of the native Americans , it has be swept under the carpet, well same Europeans blundered the culture and wealth of south america, mother africa in the name of civilization , would they ever answer this question

  • Great!!!! we can not aloud others keep destroing and exhausting mother earth!!!!

  • The argument that "if god existed he would do good things only" is an acknowledgement of Good and Evil. You argue that good and evil exist -- think about it.

  • Think of the large size of the nation for Cherokee if they accepted all of their descendants. Yet they exclude. Why? Is it over the dollar they turn their nose at sons and daughters long lost and forgotten. I don't sense the great spirit in such decisions.

  • I am of mixed blood. There is little love among white people outside of the church - a church that centers on the sacrifice made of a person of different race at the hands of white romans. Despite having direct ancestors in at least 3 tribes I am not welcomed there due to greed. I'm talking about the greed of the cherokee worrying about splitting up their money more ways and greed of government paying out more to bigger tribe.

  • God exist!. It is humans who have a wicked heart!. Wicked europeans committed a HOLOCAUST against the native north-americans. Everybody talks about the jew holocaust, but HERE in what is the United States a larger holocaust was commited against native americans.

  • GREAT HONOR OUR ANCESTORS WITH INDIGENOUS TASTE IN BOTH FORM OF MELODY AND I AM BRAZILIAN BJKS

  • This is one of the most Powerful Culture God created on the face of the Earth. Why does man destroy what God has given to us freely. Such beautiful people with music humming to the soul and the spirit. Long live Red Indians, only God will revenge for you. He will revisit what was stollen from you by eternal damnation. Terry

  • @TheTerrynet Dude shut up with u and ur god. If god existed, he wud never let that happen to natives.

  • why america? why you killed this? why you kill me? why you kill yourself?

  • every time there need to be a losser, how is giving a dislike.this song is perfect.

  • Who is the chief with the kind face in the mirror image pic and a resting bison in the middle. what nation is he from.

  • @storytellerfoto my guess based on the pic is chief sitting bull, a lakota sioux

  • @pinkchic2286 Thank you for your help.

  • My Grandfather was Cherokee :), I only wish he were alive so that I may listen to the stories past down from generation to generation. Still the heritage is beautiful.

  • Beautiful!

  • Native Americans are the only humans to understand that we are all connected with the universe and that all things have a spirit (animals, water, rocks, air, etc.). When we harm one, we harm all!

  • listening while high=good music

  • u will never believe the secrets early natives had, it surpasses way beyond our materialistic world

  • i love this music thanks

  • is there still people who knows what these words means ? is there still people singing these songs ? i hope so....

and if you know, please tell me ^^

  • proud to be cherokee!!

  • People, people! Why are you so concerned with being Native American in blood only, when all you need is to be a Native American at heart and in soul.

  • @celticbattleaxe i don't wanna be a bitch but having there blood is different to having it in your head

  • @lovelydia101 Of course it is! But we shouldn't be concerned about how "authentically Native American" we are based only on blood. Blood does not make a person who they are. It is their soul that makes them who they are, and this shows through their heart.

  • @celticbattleaxe of course i know but i'm Australian and if i say america is in my soul it doesn't make me american

  • @lovelydia101 That's different. Just saying it doesn't do anything. You have to feel it as a part of you.

  • beautifull

  • I have Cherokee Ancestry, though I don't look it, My mom also Has Irish in her, and her Great-Great-Great-Great(?) grandmother was Full Blooded Cherokee. And on my dad's I know I also have Native American Ancestry, and he kinda shows it where he tans easily -_-.

Though I may not look it, but I still love my Native American Ancestry!

  • @Misstyfoot I, as well, have Cherokee ancestry, and am very proud of that fact. I have felt it in my heart and soul since I was 4 years old

  • Grupo Walela parabens. Admirador do Brasil.

  • Slowianie tez maja swoje piesni np.Vedan Kolod -Golubnaja kniga na you tube.

  • good.

  • See alot of people seem to get history little off. Scalping was started during the French/Indian war. People were paid a fee for each Indian scalp they returned. Hence why women and children were killed by the eurpoeans. Wasnt out of hatred but greed. Wrong about indians torturing as well. Some started to scalp but as retrubition not b/c they were savage. Another fun fact, Native Americans had virtually 0 diseases. Not until settlements/cities started and sewage spawned them.

  • mein absolutes lieblingslied.

  • Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.. it is truly beautiful

  • Funny thing, I added this to my playlist and woke up to this song...Thanks for posting this wonderful song! *Goes back to sleep with another Native American chant*

  • .....fantastic mix of music and pictures....thanks for posting.....xo

  • Hey, is this from an album? If so, can you tell me what it is?

  • el silencio no se escuchara en el mundo afuera , si no en ti mismo , miko

  • uncpa. You are "tsalagi" yet you make those claims about how "Savage" cherokee are? No, sorry no tsalagi person would ever say it like that or shoudl I say orginal people.

What schol taught you what you claim? IT surely was not within the CHerokee Nation or the UNV OF Okl. Wars of territory were not faught that often, and traditionally, an enemy captured was held for punishment against them, taught, and intigrated into the nation when the heart was conquered. THose that refused were excised.

  • the world's biggest loss is the culture of native american, screw greedy white people for it, going around the world , taking whats good of the world and exhausting mother earth of its resources. We were meant to live among nature, not perish it.

  • @solukhumbu911 very very well said & I'm in total agreement!

  • @solukhumbu911 I agree! I love this music, it makes my soul soar

  • @solukhumbu911 uhm, our culture is not "lost". I can still speak the language of my people and pretty much all of us participate in native ceremonies. Our tribes are growing, btw.

  • @Innkaris this gives some hope, but still...you don't have your land,Mother Nature has been severely affected and damaged and you have been forced to live according to the "rules" of the 21st century's world. It is a good thing you keep your language and religion, but that's not everything. It's utterly sad to think that so many wise civilizations will never return exactly to the way they were before they were attacked. And I'm not referring only to the Native American one.

  • @solukhumbu911 I totally agree. We destroyed Nature, and because of that we will be destroyed ourselves.

  • @solukhumbu911 Pretty much every race in the world is industrialized and are fucking mother earth. You might wanna go back to school before u decide to make ignorant comments YOU.RETARD.

  • @solukhumbu911 I totally agree friend, do you know that 4-6 millions native americans where killed in north america (USA, Canada and Mexico) during late 18th and the entire 19th century, god will judge the european civilisation for this crime, i hope i will see them burn in hell.

  • Beautiful video

  • Peaceful song.. feels great to hear it. Thx so much for posting this, u made my day :)

  • Excellent.

  • so am i chippewa and cherokee i love my grandpa whos half cherokee and my grandma is delaware and chippewa so that is who i am a native american and loving it so much

    Bright star is my name

  • Our people did what they had to do to survive and still we fight for every right we have we've fought. This fighting will not end. Cherokee stories are passed down from one generation to the next so that we may never forget, like the trail of tears. Do not ever forget where our people have been and where we are now and where we will be. We are a proud and wonderful people.

  • Schöner Song ,ich hoffe das wir Menschen irgendwann erkennen das Mann ,Frau, und unsere kinder Geld nicht Essen können! Das es nicht wert ist Wegen

  • The Earth Mother

We are all thankful to our Mother, the Earth, for she gives us all that we need for life. She supports our feet as we walk about upon her. It gives us joy that she continues to care for us as she has from the beginning of time. To our Mother, we send greetings and thanks.

  • gut von dich...

  • estatic masterbrothers

    over and over again...

  • We n' de ya ho, We n' de ya ho,

We n' de ya, We n' de ya Ho ho ho ho,

He ya ho, He ya ho, Ya ya ya

Translation - We n' de ya ho

translated: "A we n'" (I am), "de" (of), "Yauh" --the-- (Great Spirit), "Ho" (it is so).

Written as: A we n' de Yauh ho (I am of the Great Spirit, Ho!).

This language stems from very ancient Cherokee

    Its beautiful

  • @prissmc117 Thank you for the translation. I love the Natives Songs and Chants, but due to my ignorance of the languages, I dont' understand what is being said. I really appreciate the translations. This is heartwarming and a tribute to "The Great Spirit". Thank you again, Nai'a

  • gut gemacht schwester

    du habst talent mit indianen

  • Being part Cherokee and part Sac N Fox this is truly beautiful. Thank you.

  • de tsi no gi' a hia = i am singing this

  • Absolutely beautiful!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with me.

  • I am half Cherokee! AND PROUD!

although, I'm extremely pale so no one believes me... >:|

  • Wonderful.

  • we always sing that song in our camp in the morning.. It's very beautiful =) And the kids love it ^^

  • @MmeCherie

Can anyone give me some kind of lyric in a readable version as I will try to make a choir arrangement of this and an african native song....

  • @lordsandro22 I'm sorry but I was only told it by singing .. I have no lyrics.. but It's a great idea! :)

  • @MmeCherie

Couldn´t you even write a phonetic version? I mean if you sang the song every morning in the camp.... Yes, it´s a great idea, and music is probably the most internationa language!

  • @lordsandro22 hmm but I see another problem there: I'm German and I pronaunce the words in another way than you do.. (I hope you know what I mean xD)

  • @lordsandro22

Translation: I am of the Great Spirit. It is so.

  • Enjoyed the song and video. Everyone, including myself from the E cherokee and my wife, the western tribe is Cherokee, or so it seems. Why? because our ancestors assimilated. Dressed like the euros, inter bred. Lived in cabins. Took Slaves. Started with the Confeds in war then switched to winning side. Survivors, no doubt and because they had a written language they know their past. Other tribes fake it.

  • lovely song.. english is not native language.. but i guess what she says is "i am of the great spirit".. at least thats what i heard..

  • I LIKE DIS SONG...!

  • osiyo. im geneva...dis song is beautiful.

  • such a beautifull songg

  • ...ja das ist Musik, die berührt...

  • @bryantuten:

Ich finde es toll, dass deutsch eine deiner Lieblingssprachen ist!! =) xD

    Kleine Schreibfehler:

    schwierig

Aber hoffentlich werde ich bald beide fließend sprechen.

    ;)

    LG! =)

  • Does it say hey hoe hey hoe?

  • @Damianfanlover it's pronounced that way, but written as 'ho' which is freely translated to 'it is so'.

  • @Damianfanlover The lyrics are "We n' de ya ho, We n' de ya ho, We n' de ya, We n' de ya Ho ho ho ho, He ya ho, He ya ho, Ya ya ya" Which means I am of the Great Spirit, it is so.

  • Hey!

    tschuess

  • ich ind den Hund bei 0:18 voll schön

  • does know something similar to Patrick O'Hearn's "All Quiet Know"??

  • is sehr schön

  • Genial..einfach nur wunderschön!

  • im cherokee, and chippewa....weird mix, because they hated eachother...beautiful and sad song...

  • im sorry i dont know that! just love this kind of music ;)

  • Why do call it weird? I do not see any mix as weird. Call any mix a blessing...

  • @trueqiao There are Some things which NO HUMAN do to each OTHER. That is why you never expect it. You never Believe it. Like Poisening Other Human's / Animals Water!!?? Which Kind of a Human Can Do THAT. ARE THEY REALLY HUMAN !!!???

  • Call to indians take back America its time!!!!!

  • are you ok America we dont want back why cause it is not pure anymore and it would never be able to be like it was and should really still be

  • so youre saying if the indians were still here and the land was still owned by the indians you would attack again?

  • no it use our land before the white mans but the land is tainted same with the air i would fight but i would let the whites keep the mess they have made and ill just keep what i have

  • @Heathernorman84

I do not believe that any man who has traveled through the wilderness of this land could dare say america is not pure. This land is strong and beautiful and always will be.

  • @waldoman7 yeah but the people arent... the goverment isnt... and there are many places that modern man has damaged or is damaging nature....

  • @Hrafnsmerki1

the people...vary. yes they do need a lot of growing up. . The government I won't try to argue, but horrid as most governments are, they have improved throughout the centuries. I cannot help but feel that there is change around the corner, for better or for worse.

The land will survive though. To say you don't even want it back, like it's dead, seems absurd.

  • @Heathernorman84 Oh come on.. what purity are you talking about?... indian tribes fought and killed and enslaved each other all the time IN MASSES. Google search for the 'Native american torture techniques'. Bet ur forefathers never told you this part of history.

  • @gladefoam you are wrong. some of the torture techniques such as scalping were done mainly by the white men who cqme over yes the natives fought but very few tortured among those that did are shawnee and pawnee but the cherokee and ma ny others were less brtal

  • @bloodxx54321xxblood What the hell! Do some internet research wil you?

  • @bloodxx54321xxblood you may want to check facts cherokee were extreamly brutal and were some of the most savage when it came to torture. yes white man did most of the scalping etc and blamed indian for it but (I am cherokee and was raised around it and studied it in college) indians were a waring race and torture is a big part of war

  • @gladefoam -but who wrote indians history? see cia for torture techniques on women/children mkultra ,monarch, cathy obrien, duncan o finioan, etc- at least the "real adders"iroquois " never hurt or raped women/children- upon pain of death if they did-& they were defending the matriarchy culture-many women prisoners chose to be adopted by mohawk clans where women had high status-rather than return to their former village-noone knows the truth-we guess always

  • @lmollot I never said whites are innocent. Btw even white societies have upheld women.

  • @Heathernorman84 Purification will occur when the Hopi 9th Prophecy is fulfilled, shortly. The Blue Star is close now.

  • funny camels and elephants and rhinos came from here only to wind up other place

  • I know most people consider that native Americans traditionally used horses, HOWEVER, they were brought by the Spanish conquistadors....horses are not native to our land.

  • i do not made these photos just use ^^

  • I loved the song, but disappointed in some of the graphics in your video. While I'm not a purest, I would like to see graphics of Cherokee people & culture when presenting Cherokee songs. There was a mix of different nations in the video and only a few of Cherokee. This is not the only youtube video I've seen doing this. Great video otherwise.

  • sorry, but you are wrong because the horses come from the north America, latter go to Europe and Asia!

  • KYYZZ3 :"sorry, but you are wrong because the horses come from the north America..."

    yes and no.

Those horses you mean where tiny wood animals (not bigger than a middle dog).

They died out in America, and it took several 10thousand years to become big rideable animals. Those came back to America with spanish troops

  • @mullahaliackbar European explorers REINTRODUCED horses to the New World several thousand years after the ancient ones died out.

  • I love this video. It is so calming. Also has beautiful pics.

  • Ich liebe auch dieses Lied - es ist mein Lieblingslied!

  • Wenn ich höre diese Lied - ich vergesse deutsche Grammatik ich!
