I appreciate the advice. I'll attach one of my videos where i thought the crappie would be considering the dock size and these floating islands they have there. The water is really stained in the video but if you look at some of my other vids you can see the water finally clearing up. I would seriously appreciate it if you could go through my fishing vids and then tell me which video you think i would have the best results at for catching Crappie. Video response after this comment.
@jurassicsushi I'll be posting some up-coming videos on "catching" at Lake Oconee {which is the lake that's right above Lake Sinclair, Oconee feeds directly into Sinclair...it is a little easier to catch fish from than Oconee (in my opinion)}...remember in shallow water don't jig straight up & down..cast out and reel lure back to you slowly while imparting a very slight twitch...note: when Ga power is moving water for dam hydroelectricity...the fish become noticeably active....sorry no schedule
lol too bad where i get to go fishing its only about 2-6 ft deep if that. I haven't caught anything but catfish and 4 crappie in 4 years of living down here in GA. Ugh i miss NY.
Thanx! go 2 the 2-6 ft deep area from the end of Feb.- mid-April...spawning time is almost upon us...the fish will be shallow for romance (and u can serve these energetic fish dinner in the form of a 1/32 oz darter-shaped (chartreuse) jig-head armed w/ a triple ripple, shredded/skirt tube (squirmin squirt), yum 1.5 in. baby craw or a single tail stinger-type jig (1.5 in. stubby butt) soft plastic {best over-all color is blue w/ metallic fleck or glitter} *May the FISH Be with You!*
@jurassicsushi ...sounds like shallow Lake Oconee...wherever it is, try to make sure this shallow area is close to a creek or river channel or has structure such as downed tree, bushes, rocks, something that the fish or baitfish would be drawn to, works 24/7, but if night time place lights near your fishing spot, the previously mentioned jigs can be good search baits (believe it) cast and let it fall as u retrieve toward u w/ a bounce/pause every 3 or 4 turns of the reel *Let's Go Catching*
