they are ruining our homes, we did not move to the country to have our water ruined, our life totally disrupted and to live in the raddon at toxic levels. Insurance companies are also pulling out of this area because they feel that we are going to have earthquakes because of all the drilling. the government tells you everything is fine but this is as bad as the pharmicuticals telling you drugs are fine then 5 years later you find out the drugs your doctor gave you has ruined your heart.

Fraccing can be one of the most damaging human action to our water tables. They DON'T know what the affects will be in 10 yrs and for those who say it doesn't do damage ...BS My husband has been in the oilfield in the drilling side and now on the completion side for 15 yrs and it is damaging. Truck traffic, noise water table contamination, damage to local roads, ect.

Due to the recent discoveries of massive reserves of shale rock formations - America could soon be a net exporter as oppposed to the biggest importer of oil & gas in the world.

The risks are, if they don't do the job right, that you could contaminate your well water or the well water of your neighbors. There is also the problem that these folks own you until they are done drilling, and if they find a lot of gas, they could be there for years, and you wont like it very much when they are done. The longer they stay, the more damage they can do to your land.
