my house has just become fucking TOXIC i cant even breathe in here, nice respirator.... ive been wearing the same one for a fucking week. this is insanity, i never heard of mold before this past week. i have to rip down my house. wtf

Our house has very shotty construction and was built about 30 years ago. The builder was to cheap to put a vapor barrier between the shower tile and drywall, and now there is mold in the fiberglass insulation.

hey man i have the same problem but mine is due to leaking windows which are being replaced. But just an observation, are you really surprised this happened seeing as there's a hole in your house leading right into the studs and drywall lol

Wow Sean. That stuff, as others have said, is dangerous. Get your insurance co. to come out and do something about it. That hole from the outside of your home is where the mold could have found its way in. You should never have a square hole to the outdoors like you did leading into your wall space in your bedroom? Get a professional who can kill it. Take good care of yourself. That stuff can do some hideous stuff to your lungs, by the sound of it something has already begun.

HOLY CRAP that was a huge hole. Mold is really dangerous once airborne like that. Be careful dude! Did you call your homeowners insurance?
