Funny how people keep bringing up superior BJJ. Fitch's BJJ is miles better than GSP's, and look where that ended up. GSP was the first to pass Fitch's guard, and did that twice. Fitch ended up being a mess. So just because Diaz BJJ is better, does NOT mean GSP BJJ defense isn't better than that. Two different things. Plus Diaz would have to take GSP down, GOOD LUCK to that. As a fighter I can say with true confidence that I do not know....I Love St-Pierre, and have seen him fight since UCC in Verdun, QC. I Believe that GSP has the superior skills , but you never truly know. Many mma fighters would agree with me.

You may love Silva's style , jungle style, as it is extremely versatle, but GSP understands who and what he is facing. Remember that he defeats the best at their own game. It will take place eventually, but when it does, it will be a great chess match.

As a mixed martial artist, i know that anything can happen in a fight and most likely GSP knows that as well but in my opinion GSP is 100 levels above Nick Diaz. Funny how people keep bringing up superior BJJ. Fitch's BJJ is miles better than GSP's, and look where that ended up. GSP was the first to pass Fitch's guard, and did that twice. Fitch ended up being a mess. So just because Diaz BJJ is better, does NOT mean GSP BJJ defense isn't better than that. Two different things. Plus Diaz would have to take GSP down, GOOD LUCK to that. As a fighter I can say with true confidence that I do not know....I Love St-Pierre, and have seen him fight since UCC in Verdun, QC. I Believe that GSP has the superior skills , but you never truly know. Many mma fighters would agree with me.

As for Diaz figthing "top competition" I beg to differ, hes fought good fighters, but GSP has fought the worlds best in Koscheck X2, BJ Penn X2, Fitch, Hardy, Serra 2, Alves & Shields. As a mixed martial artist, i know that anything can happen in a fight and most likely GSP knows that as well but in my opinion GSP is 100 levels above Nick Diaz. what a waste of a GSP fight. What should of happened is this...Diaz vs Penn. Both stand up fighters with amazing boxing and bjj, fans would love that fight, Diaz should have to EARN a title shot, especialy since his win/lose ratio in UFC is only 60%, Penn is in contention right now and even Diaz's higher ranked budy Sheilds had to EARN his shot. In th meantime Fitch vs GSP, Fitch has only 1 lose in his last 23 fights and it was to GSP. his last 10 wins r against much better guys then Diaz's wins

GSP the super hero versus the DIaz villan it made perfect sense. but now best man wins in penn v diaz.
