Usually I wake up with a random Tom Waits' song on my mind, every morning. But lately it's been the same song for many days in a row. I don't know what happened, this just stuck in my head so much. It makes the morning seem like late evening in a dim, smoky, lonely bar.

Anyone who calls tom waits garbage knows nothing about music. You may not like his voice, sure - it's an acquired taste, but he writes fantastic music and his lyrics are amazing. Just like Bob Dylan, you may not like his voice, but he is an amazing musician.

One of my favorite songs from Orphans, but hell, the whole album in itself is a treasure. Love the Bawlers, sympathetic and romantic. Brawlers, a rockabilly fun ride. Bastards, crows, power tools, sand paper and firecrackers meshed in a paint shaker, all great. Just bought the Orphans vinyl. I'm gonna record the bonus tracks, I haven't played it yet, waiting until I can record it. I'm trying not to play it 'till than, but I probably can't help it and bust it out lol. Amazing artist, a pleasure.

I was at my friends gig at this pub not too long ago ... i saw a little tele in the corner playing a black and white film... i saw some guy with a hat on get out of a mini and jump through the window and right then i said.... this is on a tom waits song!! but... i and the rest of my friends are 17 so everyone didnt know what i was talking about
