Last I checked, 24% is not "most". Infact, it's not even half of half.

Technically, I don't think it's really a nation; not if you take "nation" to mean a group of people who share language, culture, etc--and are often under one government. I don't remember the specific definition, but I think that's more-or-less it.

Actually, the USSR fell in 1991, when all the countries were founded. The Animaniacs began in 1993. So, either the song was written three years before the show began or the writers where just too lazy to add in all the republics of the former USSR. Also, the Czech republic and Slovakia split in late 1992 (official Jan 1, 1993). And yes, I know it's just a children's show, but I'm bored right now.
