  • People have their own ideas how to build fence but thats a little much dont ya' think?

    Dont see any trees that could fall on it... I've been in the fence business for 20yrs and that one end you call "n" brace is actually called a dead man. But I've always heard Texas is different from the rest. lol

    PS ~ a well built fence is how well the pull post are tamped in.

  • Great video! I had not thought of the multiple wraps or adding the 'N' brace. One trick I use for maintenance while building is instead of directly using 1/2" rebar for the twist, I insert a short piece of 1/2" conduit in the area to be twisted and then put the rebar through it as a lever. I find that in the future when it needs more twisting/tensioning it is easier to slide the rebar/lever through the conduit and once it hits the 5 strands then slide it back and repeat the process.
