Well I really liked the Justicar for soloing personally. They are a little slow when killing one enemy at a time but spec to hit more enemies with Even Justice and I can take on up to five regular enemies with no sweat. Even justice adds convictions so staying alive is no problem, particularly if you trade out sentinel for druid, the fairy pet may not heal for MUCH but its healing you dont have to click on.
@alarmclockbandit1 - Inquisitor is best for solo lvling, you get some massive AoE ability's and you can take down alot of enemies by yourself. My 23 cleric got Inquisitor/Purifier/Sentinel... And then go for either healer or tank as second role... (;
i always used those 3 trees, a two hander and the cleave atk. was always able to kill at least like 4 mobs, or a elite of around same lvl. not as fast to kill as like a champion or something but i nvr took that long to dps. getting more spell power, wisdom, etc. more dmg more healing. owns pvp with vengeance of frozen earth and cleave mass healing all around.
sadly the only real good class in rift is mages... so much destruction... also riftstalker arent that good for tanks at all... unless they were glitched during beta, which I don't think they were.
They should rename this game "Ex-Tards of WoW" that's all it is, a WoW copy and all the retards, noobs and rejects of WoW ran to RIFT with high hopes - soon they will find out they were deceived, all they wanted is your 50 bucks.
This game is for ex-WoW retards who were too lazy to gear up or nerd-raged in vent because we vote kicked them for being stupid, or tried to raid in greens, couldn't play their class, etc. Good Luck Tards, for your "Rift" will certainly fail within one year!

@tgnRift So I have a question. A group of my friends have wanted to try and get together and play on the same server. They need a healer for their group and I usually find healing classes boring. This class however is really starting to interest me. What I need to know is if this class can be an effect group healer?
@fantasylife101 EQ was... it was okay. There was alot of things to dislike about the game though LoL.
Like getting killed and losing experience(and even levels!) and having to run to your body and loot the corpse(otherwise you are nakid. Nothing like running through a higher level zone while you're dead to get your gear while nakid just to die ten billion times and hope someone is nice enough to loot it for you and bring it back to you LoL.)
@shootthis123 That still isn't as bad as Ultima Online where people could disarm then steal your weapon and leave you standing there like a moron while everyone ganked you. UO was a blast for a while but it seemed like the more complex they made it the more boring it became.
@Chad01234 Possibly in PVE. I'm not sure in PVP considering all the griping there is to be had with the VK (it only is good against mana users, though, so I can't grasp how it's OP).

This is probably fixed in Beta 7 starting Tuesday. Why his hits were so pitifully low. 17 damage white hits compared to 90+ from Beta 5 with a 1 hander.

@Komarikai Do you have a source for this? I noticed a huge difference in my damage if I was missing my cavalier buff. Plus, you could see the stats on the character sheet. The drop in damage was because of a massive, massive nerf that they got before beta 6, not because of a bug.
@tgnRift I'll have to dig through the Cleric forums again >_> But they accidentally nerfed Justicar damage(And doing no threat even with your tanking buff up) in the process of trying to nerf Druids(Which you and I both know were ludicrous in Beta 5). Why there were multiple threads about Justicars doing no threat or damage during the Beta 6 event. Why I went Inquisitor myself lol.
Trion thought the melee clerics were doing far too much damage and so tried balancing them in CB-6, but IMO went a little overboard. I was having trouble out-DPSing mobs of my same level when I had spec'd for melee, but did just fine when I changed to caster DPS. This was in Stonefield.
Heck, I even noticed that even when in a melee spec my spells were actually doing far more damage and at a greater efficiency than my most powerful melee attack.
@tgnRift dude you have 0 soul vitality that is equivalent to the 50% less of everything untill you visit soul healer :) ( you can notice it with red skull next to your portrait ).
with a justicar tank you should get absorption shields, your healing is reduced but your shields aren't so what i do for justicar tank is 10points in shaman and just take purifier as third soul for 2 30sec cd high absorb shields.
but the most fun i've had with justicar was with justicar/shaman/inquisitor for insane damage that heals your party for 37.5% of the dmg done plus the healing from justicar healing spells makes this a fierce pvper and grinder.
I leveled as a Justicar. I used Shaman as my 2nd role but changed it to Sentinel, for 10 points you have OOC rez, heals, end buff, life based dot & instant life spell. You cast Radience, Lifes vengence, Banish before you reach the mob (or the mob reaches you).
This also gives you some flexibility if you are not in range of allies or enemies. I am surprised you do not use Bolt of radience every 8 secs. At 25-35 Justicar is a fun class, lots to do and think about
Maybe I am going to reroll an cleric in retail Rift but maybe I will stick with a new mage then.. But becouse of your great guides about this calling I really get more and more exited about the cleric!
@Fody I found all of the melee clerics boring. Inquisitor was the most fun for me. I like the combination of cooldowns, procs, dots, big casts, quick casts, and channels.
this opinion here proves my point about how cool this game is. I find far more fun to play the meele clerics than the ranged ones. I guess what makes this game cool is that every kind of player can find it's place in it and enjoy it. Anyway :D ty again Cromar!
@Fody keep in mind his opinion is suited to his tastes specifically , after watching a lot of his vids it isn't a big surprise to me that the ranged kiting spec is more fun to him, whereas I prefer the druid spec for grinding/lvling.

You could easily be nailing 3 damage digits @lvl15 with a 2h, you only put the shield on if you have a party and run at that rift group
