i use my sno pro for everything. it works well for all types of riding, i absolutely love them. they are good for more than racing..

Cat and Doo on the track are the same IMO. Whatever fits you, ride it.

If you have the choice between a cat and doo, go doo. It takes a bit longer to get used to, but well worth it. The cat was good for one thing, and one thing only. RACING. The doo is an all around machine.
