  • love your video. check out my tokyo video if you got time ;-)

  • Does Tokyo serves Chicken ramen noodles?

  • That "Nazi" symbol is more well known as a religious symbol throughout the world. Nazi's just used such a symbol as propaganda.

  • @NoobBrood1 its not a nazi symbol its something else that exits very long time ago.

  • nice video. very helpful. if you got time check out my tokyo wanderer video :-) hope you like it

  • SUGOI!!!!

  • 0:29 so are all the japanese secretly nazi's? :P

  • @YaoiKing69 the swastika is an ancient symbol used in buddhist and hindu culture... like charlie chaplins muistache hitler ruined it for everyone

  • @TyeDye75 oh wow, I never new. Thanks, Now I have a new view of it now.

  • 1:00 this part of Tokyo was in the movie "Lost in translation" when a dinossaur crossed that building.

  • anyone notice the NAZI symbol in the tower? 2:30?

  • @MarkuPro its really a sign for peace used in most asian religions

  • WTF NAZI SYMBOL AT 0:28

  • @ThatKidWithInsomnia lol actually its the buddist sign for power or something.. if you tilt it slighty THEN you get the nazi sign :s

  • @gaiasimpulse oh cool thanks. now i know lol

  • @ThatKidWithInsomnia someone is ignorant. That originally was a buddhist symbol before the natizs bastardized it.

  • ANA? as in All Nippon Airways?? COOL!! i soo wanna work for them!!

  • What was the "best sushi i found in tokyo" place called??? "Edo-han"?

    Subtitles would be great :)

  • Ahhhhhhh I want to go so so so much D: Can anyone tell me how much you'd need to spend three weeks in Japan, approximately? I mean, including flights (i'm in the UK), accomodation (just a traditional inn) and spending money etc??

  • ok why is there a notzy sign at the top of the temple??

    check it out at 2:31

  • @sheynoo because the swastika is used in Hinduism, Buddhism & Jainism as a symbol of good luck. but after the 1930s it was strongly associated with Nazi Germany & Hitler. "...what inspired Hitler to use the swastika as a symbol for the NSDAP was its use by the Thule Society (German: Thule-Gesellschaft) since there were many connections between them and the DAP..." - Ulric of England

  • Can anyone help me? I cannot understand a word she says. Any kind souls can type it out?

  • what resolution is this? 100p?

  • japan = $

    $ = society

    Society = happiness?

  • japan is the best country in the world

  • is there a Australia town in japan? kinda hoping there is for when i get home sick on my holiday lol

  • @MrGrog88 you can always hop the ferry across to Pusan and the Russian district there.

Then feel both confused and still homesick.

  • @ShereKhanTiger russian district in tokyo? r u for real mate? how odd lol

  • @MrGrog88 no, sorry, I meant the russian district in Pusan, South Korea. South Korea is just a short ferry ride away from Japan, and Pusan is one of the primary ports for those ferries.

In Pusan, right close to the waterside, is a section of the city called the Russian District - where everything is in Russian and there are Russians everywhere.

  • @MrGrog88 ive never understood people who go to another country only to hang out in the "*national* town" of their own country! wtf... enjoy the cultural change, you're going to come back and find australia just as u left it! geez

  • @albstralian if your responding to when i said "Australia town in japan"

it was a joke referring to the simpsons episode where they went all the way to japan to eat at a reasturant called "America town"

  • LOOLL! r u taking the piss or just being funny do u really think theres enough aussies in tokyo too created a town like that seriously

  • @charlieiscool1000 no, abit of common sense please, it was a joke in reference to when the simpsons go to japan and eat at "America town"

i thought it was a pretty self explainatory joke but apparently not

  • in case u havnt noticed its abit diffcult too tell when somones joking over the internet since we cant use our vocals

  • Stupid question possibly....But in Tokyo etc. is there many white people?? Or are people going to be amazed to see whites? Do many people speak English??

  • i'll give everyone a tip. Dont have sashimi for breakfast!

  • Comment removed

  • It's not a swastika, it's a japanese kanji.

  • @stillframe13659 Actually its a bhuddist symbol, the Nazis inverted it and used it as their symbol. The Bhuddist mark is used throughout asia.

  • I was in Japan last summer, Japan is incredible....wish I could live there.

  • yeah, but japanese is hard to accept others although they seem open... i think hong kong is better than japan

    (sorry for english...)

  • @YoungTurker how was it ? little describtion ?

  • @YoungTurker What's stopping you from living there? If living somewhere makes you happy, live there. :)

  • @YoungTurker You can :), i gonna live there if i am older

  • @YoungTurker LOL two years again comment, well good thing you went to japan before the the earthquake happened

  • SUSHI!!

  • haha. I ate at that restaurant in the Tsukiji fish market :) Japan is amazing. You don't need to know japanese but studying a little bit and taking a phrase book with you will go a long way. They are very nice to foreigners that make an effort to speak the language. iphone has a few really good apps too!

  • @00Mandingo00 What is the name of the app?

  • @00Mandingo00

the ones i had were lingolook Japan and iLingo - Japanese. There are also a few apps that teach you to read japanese letters. I would recommend learning Katakana first because the words spelled in katakana are phonetically English (laptop, coffee, seat belt, etc.) Hope that helps you.

  • I think she says Hie shrine at 1:08, Edo-gin at 1:44, Robataya 1:55. Can someone shed light on the other names?

  • 1:25 Tsukiji fish market, 2:19 Ginza, 2:31 Asakusa,

  • I was thinking of the restaurant names... :-)
