No it has to be switched by a key to R BUT i found a way to over ride it when you arrive at a floor in travel between any floor press both door open buttons a lot until you reach the floor the back door will sometimes open a little most of the time it works when run to the door trip the sensor and it opens
there are 3 service 2 passenger 1 long passenger and 1 small passenger opens to the service size but that door is never used and 1 brand new freight service elevator a old service elevator and a service elevator with a real opening to the passenger side witch is never used
the one side of butler hospital elevator the one I took to 6 is remade anyways that elevaor has a rear door and the buttons will open on the front side but if you are already at a floor and press rear open it will open the rear side I might go back in a coupel weeks and I will show you that but check it out its a re take of me on it ALONE

6R is the the Service side not used much Used when one elevator is out of service and used sometimes when the otis techs are there

The button marked 1 has no star next to it. It should because it is the main floor(1*). Also the doors arent silver, they are blue.

Are BR, 1R,2R,3R,4R,5R and 6R private floors. By the way, there are TWO control panels in this elevator.

no they open up to the rear service side there not private and the buttons dont do anything unless put into Rear mode
