got my car tuned by adam sawatari who used to race as A nd L racing shop RX7 and NSX twin turbo. And my supra run great after have him install my tilton clutch kit and tuning my HKS FCon V unit that he sell to me. And i make 692.4 w.h.p. and my best time was 11.3 sec with street tires. thanks to the tilton clutch that my fiance ordered for me for x mas and worth closed to 5,500 including shipping. omg. and that just that works for it better than my 6 pucks act disc. hahaha

for revving it after the dyno, does this only apply to cars with tons of boost?

my friend has a supra that chokes like all the time. hes got the 2JZ racing engine with a T-74 turbo, hes pushing at around 900hp+ on race fuel.

A lot has to do with the size of the injectors. To support 900+ WHP levels, the engine must have large 1000+ cc injectors, and larger injectors tend to have poor control at low pulsewidths. Right after an abrupt shutdown, revs would plummet but there would be tons of left over fuel. Hence, these big turbo big power cars also likes to shoot flames for the same reason.

its a dyno, they put alot of load on teh driveline, when he puts the clutch pedal down.. it'll pretty much stop quickly

A Dynapack is hydraulic, i can stop an 1000whp engine at full load in less than one revolution of the hub.

What is the purpose of blipping the throttle after doing a run as the RPMS fall?

Unlike roller dynos, the engine will not coast and decelerate gradually.  Rather, after the dyno pull on a Dynapack, the clutch is depressed and goes into neutral. After a big power pull, the engine tends to choke with all the left over fuel when the revs plummet, and the revs just clears up the engine to prevent it from stalling/choking.

@Dynamotorsports . very cool... never understood this either. used to mustang dynomometers and the like. sounds good up top . next , at :42 or so , whats the liquid/gas by the intake manifold. water/methanol injection is the only thing i could think of unless someone was spraying the intercooler.
