id like to add that even though these pads dont sound point for point like an expensive drum kit does, they serve the EXACT purpose they are intended for which is honing and refining drum technique and im glad i own this kit. btw youre not too shabby on the pads

i can really tell the difference in wooden sticks vs AHEAD aluminum sticks. my AHEAD sticks produce a pretty distinct difference in sound, it sounds more like a smack and less like a popping which is good imo. when i practice it still sounds good enough thanks to the Nylon tips on my sticks
