Well, after watching your first video, I got hooked to fire, lol. This vid was really helpful, I did know most of the things you were saying, with certain things that I didn't. I don't really know why you refuse to believe that you're definitely in the top fire mages on WoW, if not the top that is. What I would really like a tut on is your macros, I have no idea how to make a proper macro. If you could do that, it would be awesome. Sorry for the huge-ass comment. Keep it up bro!

Nice work, I always come to your vids for tips. At what point do you use your SP trinket? Before you start the shatters or after when you pop combustion? I currently have a macro to use time warp, trinket, mirror image, combust, flame orb. Is that wrong of me, am I gimping myself by using trinket right before combust? Does the trinket affect combust at all when combining dots or do you need the trinket up before you pyro shatter so the ignites are already bigger?

Make some guides on keybinding/macros for a fire mage. This video did help me, I was specced arcane the longest time for dps and I found this spec works great for dps/pvp. And frost is OP so no challenge at all, I prefer fire for overall fun.

For your maxiumum dps, when u get a pyro proc you don't want to pyro right away. You should scorch+pyro like your shatter combo, both will crit and you will proc another pyroblast allowing for a much larger burst in damage. Thumbs up so all can see this.

@blindwitnes1 I've tried SEVERAL times in succession to get a scorch + Hot streak going to get a hot streak, but it doesn't want to work with scorch, however, if your 25 yrds+ with a hotstreak, if you fire blast the hotstreak than you can get another, I think blizz did this on purpose so you couldn't run around casting hotstreaks infinitely since scorch has no cooldown, and if you could do it back to back every fire mage would go into crit without question. but i can hot streak + fire blast

@ENCRYPTaBIT It is possible but you need to be within approx 5-10 yards so that the two spells hit the frozen target within a very small amount of time, so they freeze doesn't break by the time the pyro hits, and no you cant repeat this over and over and over since the pyro proc critical doesn't count towards your hot streak

When you are about to burst with the Scorch/impact/host streak combustion. I noticed you poped trinket just before the combustion. Pop it before scorch/impact/ pyro to increase the critt damage which inscreases the ignite ticks = more combustion damage! :D

@thedreameater Yes, Fire is apparently getting nerfed in 4.3.2 but that won't stop me from playing it. Logically, Fire is still better overall compared to 4.2, and in my opinion, Fire didn't need buffs in the first place. I am fine with the nerfs and won't affect my decision in play. Goodluck!

@123konstig If you have your crit at 25% when you cast CoC/ Nova you can then cast blast wave for a for sure crit and if, have found that is best to have your rotation something like this ( scorch...with a crit, CoC/Nova, blast wave, pyro (proc'ed), Living Bomb, then for more insult to injury throw on a combust!, after all that, /laugh.

Very informative, we appreciate this a lot Hansol! I've talked with a few fire mages I meet in random bgs and they always bring you up as a source of inspiration!

The only problems I seem to have lately is dueling rogues. Can we even beat them as fire? Maybe rocket boosts will help? Some victorys lie within lucky rng I suppose..

I find rogues being abit annoying, tho whenever you get them out of stealth go trinket and aim for your speed to pop ofc. Use Blast Wave to get a good distance and run around that way. As long as you can keep a little slow on then, you can EASILY burn down any Rogue - save Ice Block for aslong as possible.
