This was my favourite song from the movie "The Phantom of the Paradise" (even though I really didn't care for the film that much). Beautiful lyrics and a beautiful melody and you did a fantastic job at performing it! Shame the organ bit was missing at "All my dreams.." (I personally love that touch), but this was absolutely beautiful. :D Well done!

Actually, your incorrect. Paul Williams said that William Finely did his own singing in the movie. He sang both the song at the beginning of the movie, "Faust" and he also sang (in a less exaggerated style) "Never Thought I'd Get to Meet the Devil" as well.

Damn good, man. You kind of remind me of Ben Folds. I think your voice should be louder and more solid in the mix though, because you have a good voice and there are occasional timing hitches in your playing which would be covered up if your voice was leading the mix as it leads your piano. If you recored with one good omnidirectional mic like a Sennheiser or AKG, it would probably sound awesome. I've been learning this song myself lately, and it's interesting to see how other people do it.
