I don't know why anyone would use something other than Eclipse. It's free and much better than any text editor I've used. It's also easy fixing errors in Eclipse.

@hiroshika13 Netbeans is nice for its GUI Builder, but I only use netbeans for GUI's

Also Edit Plus was suggested because Eclipse can do a lot of the stuff for you, and its better to learn it with something simple like Edit plus before moving on

@sujeshanto you can switch to 720p and go full screen to see exactly whats going on. If i do any actual work i include the .java files in the description with a bunch of comments so you can get a better view of whats happening... but thanks ^_^

vert good tutorial! I was only interested in python and c++ but now I think I'll try this. Looking forward to more. oh by the way explaining the compile part was confusing. maybe slow down there a bit.
