  • Cant believe this shit still on BETA, I wont download It, I have a desktop with

Athlon II X2 255 3.1GHZ and a GT240. Probably Its gonna crash my system.

Thanks for all the comments. They need to upgrade this shitty software.

  • @trocoman Dude, you got an NVIDEA card. Its for ATI cards.

  • Well I just tried version 1.1.1. of this and it almost killed me! My PC wasn't starting XP anymore only after three minutes or so -I had to do a lot and was luckily able to restore the system - therefor I am not happy with this. I would have prefered maybe an update on the DualcoreOptimizer or so but this? No thx! Even though I am a big fan of AMD for years (Have 6400+ black edition which is a mean CPU) this is a no go for me and I do not recommend it. Hope u accept negative comments too...

  • I used fusion utility it turned off my internet and wouldn't turn it back on even when I disabled the profile or restarted my PC as well as other processes I needed had to re-set it up manually took forever to work out everything it stopped

Auto Tune crashed my graphics card I got gray screen of death

my advice is if you don't know how to do this stuff without the aid off a game booster don't use one

  • I would prob still buy just because of the battery life.

  • This Fusion is tested as better than a duo core Atom but falls short from regular duo-core processor. Search for the HP DM1 with Fusion review. It's funny AMD dare to comapared to the Core i5.

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM figuring they have AMD Fusion laptops coming on the market for under $500....

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM What you are talking about is Brazos . It is ment to compete against dual core atom. High end fusion cpu ( apu ) is not coming out till q2 till this year.

  • It sounds good, but it's a shame the utility only works at Vista :(

AMD shouldn't push me to buy a new OS,and still 60% of Windows users have xp.

  • AMD 4 life! i will support it till my last Breath!

  • lol am i the only one that find it weird how he introduced himself after 20s of introduction instead of doing that at the start?? It's quite funny really.......

  • All this stuff you can do yourself but it's such a pain (for those not technically minded) they have to make a DERP DERRR DERP button to do it. Even in the old days of gaming in DOS, we had to fiddle with crap like CONFIG.sys and Expanded memory settings to get games running right (or running at all). Got to love computers >:)

  • This is overclocking utility for stupid lamers?

  • @frkmybrain well, i'll give AMD credit, at least they made something so the noobs can enjoy better performance easily. Or you could look at it like, an educational tool for noobs, they can then progress to becoming PC jedi such as ourselves.

  • Get game booster

  • @idman3333

I was wondering about that, is this just basically what game booster does?

Game booster never seems to do that much for me.

  • i have the new 890gx chipset with an ASUS motherboard...can I use this feature?

  • i runed that utility and i was downloading a game the speed jumps from 180 KB/s to 640 KB's but only for once.

  • holy shit, it doesnt work on anything but vista or windows 7, congrats ATI on fucking your own utility.

  • @domnikoli lol moron this is old school go bash the intel 2 years back.

  • @Xextreem two years back and it still doesnt support xp, lololo.

  • @domnikoli xp? omg old windows..... Its time to get a new windows or linux

  • @Xextreem the best windows, just sayin'

  • @domnikoli lol it was the best windows back in 2007 perhaps. But ic you have not update your harware. Thats explane many things.

  • @Xextreem denied, i use all of them and still keep XP on my gaming pc because it does not give me a headache to use.

  • aww man... an AMD computer sounds better EVERY day!

  • Hey I am planning to buy a pc

i have selected amd phenom II x4 955 processor

    ATI radeon hd 5850

    which motherboard should i use???

give me in a resonable rate!!

  • @rpop996 If your on a budget your should get BIOSTAR TA890FXE or if your not on a budget you should get the GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 or ASUS Crosshair IV Formula. Just copy and paste the names of the motherboards into newegg.com search bar. If you have any more questions please feel free to send me a message.

  • @rbaez333 ok should i use phenomII x6 1090t black edition and ati radeon hd 5870 for gfx so which mother should i use???? i want it to be future proof up to 6-8 years. and i want the best!!! under 350$.

  • @rpop996 Just save your self the money and get the AMD 965 or 955 because the AMD 965 performs better in gameplay for less $. And it won't be a bottleneck for the HD 5870. And later you can OC it. Look up some benchmarks. Two GTX 460 in sli performs almost as good as 2 HD 5870CX for a lot less cash. Do some research and see for yourself. 1 GTX460 1GB cost $230, 1 HD5870 cost $369 at the cheapest on newegg. And the best MOBO for you if you go with ATI is ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3

  • @rpop996 Or if you go with the GTX 460 in SLI and with a AMD processor then get this MOBO MSI NF980-G65 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a with a amd 965 and you will have a very good system for years to come.

  • will it work if i have amd procesor and nvidia video card?

  • @crazycostin20 Depends on the motherboard chipset. Check the specs for SLI/Crossfire support.

  • how much increase in fps in general would i get with a radeon hd 5870, amd phenom 965 and 4 gbs of ram?

  • @mattandbat a lot! :) What are you comparing this setup to?

  • @rbaez333 i mean if i had that and then turned on fusion

  • AMD definitely out of their mind or have their brain in the butts of announcing premature fusion chip before even near hit the shelves yet. purpose? perhaps to boost the stock price. That's a very bad thing to do because it create plenty of time opportunity for it's competitor(s) to catch up on time.

  • i have amd phenom II x4 2.8ghz

and ati radeon hd 5450 1gb

and i cant play any games on it

    because of the graphics card

    ati you have failed me

  • @TheXboxDoctor How did you expect to play any games on a 60$ graphics card?

  • @yeerkkiller1 it came with my pc

  • @TheXboxDoctor

    the hd5450 isn't a gaming card

you should get at least an hd5670

  • @fherlipe i know

  • @TheXboxDoctor You got a low end GPU and you're blaming the company? It's hardly made for gaming.

  • @Geoxile was joking but i guess i didnt make very clear and yes i know its crap

  • and then... is it safe !? without overclock ?.. speed up ?..

  • I have AMD Phenom ii x2 550 3.1 ghz and Ati Radeon HD 4830......Cool

  • @keishimasengi cccooolll...........

  • @keishimasengi gtx 285, phenom II 965 BE

  • Is it ok to do it on Laptops I have a cooling pad.

  • I have a phenom 9950, and a ATI 4870 :)

  • wow i love you guys i got a amd 3200+ and i can now play fear 2 project origin also with a gc overclock

  • @jerlani7629 i got the same graphic cards as you do but how did you do to make fusion work? i've installed it yesturday and downloaded my game today and when i set the game to high quality its still the same, do you know how to configure it? thankd

  • Other features of this program: Overclocks CPU, and GPU at same time to the highest safe level - at the push of a button. You are required to have a AMD motherboard if you want to get the most out of this application.

  • actually the phenom is a much better value than the core i5. especially when u factor in the motherboard prices.

  • everything you need going away :)

  • i dont understand why would we need a program to turn off programs.....is this for lazy ppl or who will ever need to use this

  • lol, you can do EXACTLY what this Gaming Utility does, with "TuneupUtilities 2010", people are idiots if they think they need an AMD processor to do this, lol

  • This is the shit......!! And does this mean it is overclocking the GPU..too?? Or its just shutting down useless background programs?

  • Ive got this on my laptop works great i just hope they come out with a Laptop Utility soon

  • Would it work if I use an Nvidia card?

  • Maybe not. Use a similar program called Game Booster

  • alt ctrl canc easier and work even with intel's cpu

  • "a typical setup"?? really now?

  • my pc is a piece of shit compared to that xD, I get like a 3rd of the marks, even though my pc is only 1 year old

  • lol that phenom cpu is old and uses agena core which was very low clocked and no more than 2mb of l3 cache if memory serves me rightly

  • See

  • how silly, you can get this for Intel too, no incentive to buy a AMD chip JUST for this, (even tho I AM using a AMD chip) all it's doing is shutting off nonessential background services.

you can do that with a program called "Game Booster"

  • Now if AMD starts coding their drivers right...

  • Yea I know right?

It's fucked up that I gotta run this program just to use my hardware the way it was designed. Getting 60+ fps in Aion with all settings on high and AA on x8. If I don't use fusion I'll get like 15 fps. It's retarded.

  • tl;dr dont buy ati.

  • that utility really works for me.... 37 FPS before..

    after 50FPS on NFS undercover

  • even with p4

  • Fuck off you Intel douch bags. AMD is the future you crack heads. AMD will fuck over Intel, Intel are whack end of so stop posting shit about Intel. On your bike intel fuckers.

  • there is a tweak to make it run on intel cpu's..........

  • We dont care, Intel are shit XD

  • whats up your ass, your getting all worked up over a fucking comment, sounds like a douchebag to me.

  • I myself have a AMD Athlon FX-57, and it's alright, Single Core is dying out tho. I personally don't consider myself to be a fan of one company... if Intel has the better processor for a better price at the time, then I will buy Intel, or if it's the other way around, then I will buy AMD, I think they both make great CPU's, altho lately, I'm hearing less and less about AMD, I would say for the moment Intel has faster CPU's for cheaper, but it could turn around, and AMD could take the lead.

  • you said: "Single Core is dying out tho"...I still have 2 AMD PC's - 1 has an athlon 2500+ and and the other has an athlon 64 4000+ and still very satisfied even though their discontinued. I can still play the latest games at their highest settings with no lags. I havent ran out and gotten into the new intel technology. Mainly because I'm broke and dont want to spend my money on itel expensive chips.

  • Yeah, my Single Core still does the job pretty good, but for games like Crysis, and GTA IV, you really do need Dual Core at LEAST.

I just hate it when I can't play certain games, I wanna play ALL games, lol

it could be a ram issue tho, I only got 2 gigs of DDR1, but World at War, and other games play just fine, I think it's my CPU, because I notice on a bunch of games, they take nearly 100% cpu.

  • @1981z28camaro I've upgraded my computer from Sempron 3300+ and 1,5GB DDR1 RAM to Athlon II 240 and 4GB DDR2 and the difference is visible instantly. Try playing Assasin's Creed on Single core? I have and it didn't work. Trust me.

  • um yeah, I played Assassin's Creed just fine on my PC, and it's a Single Core AMD Athlon FX-57, tho my power supply fried my mobo not long ago, so I haven't been able to use it.

my single core was a top of the line processor, you can't really make a reasonable comparison between a entry level Sempron 3300+ and an AMD Athlon FX-57.

tho it's not that great now, in comparison to the other one you had, regardless of age, the FX-57 would fair considerably better.

  • "if Intel has the better processor for a better price at the time"

THAT made me laugh a lot. If Intel gets better prices than AMD anytime, that would be a real miracle.

  • lol, the Core i5 is comparable in performance by 1 FPS, to the Phenom x4 965 Black Edition, and the price difference is negligible.

$5 more for the Core i5, lol - Big Deal

besides the Core i5 has Turbo Boost, so it overclocks on the fly.

so really, the Core i5 has more value than the Phenom.

  • but the phenom can overclock way better =)

  • that's not what I have heard :-)

  • 550's can overclock from 3.1 to 4.0 on the stock cooler lol I AM NOT SURE ABOUT QUADS THOUGH i heard they can oc like 600mhz which is ok i guess

  • that's not bad then, my Athlon FX-57, can only overclock by like 200 mhz, lol pretty crappy.

but it may be fried, at least until I can get a Socket 939 mobo and test it, hard to get one tho, being they were discontinued, you can get them on eBay, but it's hard to find locally.

  • lol better then nothing

  • that's true, lol, I didn't overclock it anyways tho.

  • and I'm telling you right now, the Phenom processor is gonna be turfed long before the Core i5's and Core i7's.

That's just AMD for you, I know, I own an AMD processor, I have never owned an Intel processor, but my next system is going to have an Intel cpu.

  • can this progame fuck up your system by giving you the disk read error occured plz press ctr+alt+del to restart. when u start ur comp up??

  • No. It sounds like your hard disk drive is corrupted.

  • Jesus christ I can run GTA 4 highest settings smooth with this thing...ALL PRAISE AMD!

  • Gratz .. every ones with normal pc can do it -.-

  • Does it works on a AMD Phenom II 920 using a geforce GTS 250 ?? Thanks !

  • Comment removed

  • im still confused

what does it actually do? make smoother game play? o what?

    and would it work with

    Radeon HD 2400 ?

    cheers

  • it free's up cpu usage by disabling un-necessary applications running in the background.

  • um not saying i have a intel but can one run amd fusion on a intel i mean its just a app

  • Or if you're lazy Mr. Enthusiast professional man ;).

  • Holy crap! Now I can finally play Assassins Creed and GTA IV on max settings without lag!

  • @SerbianSAJ

Holy crap those aren't typically hard to run like that at all, I suppose its a nice free boost for you but jeez upgrade already

  • @cannabischarlie That comment was added a year ago, jackass.

  • Just another reason to go with an all AMD setup, besides more bang for your buck, now even more bang for your buck and gamer oriented

  • @cannabischarlie are you stupid? jezus christ noob learn to read date....

  • you would go to newegg and buy an AMD processor, replace your processor with it, and run it

  • does this mean when i have phenom II x3 720 + radeon 4850 the performance will be higher than when using a geforce 9800 gtx+ ... AMD Just stop this carp we there are stuff called specifactions .. did u know about it .?

  • No difference... I tested it with a PS2 emulator since the emulation needs powerful pcs(with my purchased cd) and I get the same exact fps drop pattern to 70% full speed in the really detailed areas.

The task manager shows the processes are still there.

  • The emulator is CPU intensive, not GPU intensive btw. So my 9800GTX+ isn't the factor, it's my AMD X2 64 5000+.

  • thats a typical pc...

yeah right if money and economic crisis means nothing to you that pc is just for the budget ¬¬

  • i got 200 increase in benchmark on expert WTF?? = ="

  • Check my video response to find out how to run this with an intel processor!

  • did not find your vid response-where is it I would like to know how to make this work on intel processor

  • can anyone tell me if this is 3DMark06? Ive almost the same setup as this and i get half the score, how the hell is that?

  • ya is 3dmark06, u sure u have the same setup as him? u got the 4870?

  • Yeah exact same but it turns out it was a windows problem all sorted now.

  • Hmm they use a 32 bit OS on a 64bit CPU, i guess the whole 64bit thing is croc of crap.

  • yup all this shit about 64bit giving you a boost in performance is crap the main difference is just it been able to detect more RAMz

  • Using it now on my intel machine. Not bad at all; I'll play around with it a little more before deciding to keep it or uninstall it.

  • this program can be used in intel processors, look for tutorial on how to crack it.

  • Its a good program and whatnot, but I wish it allows to add a selected program like Xfire on so I can still talk to my pals in game

  • Very cool, thanks for the explanation Berry.

  • Instant BSOD with just the basic settings... never again :/

  • this tool is shitttttttttttt

  • can this go on intel ?

  • Should go, but maybe you have to crack to program.

The over clocking part won't work with an intel for sure ;-)

  • You're stupid. It's not just overclocking.

  • Looks nice,

    Will try this later

    Amd + Ati Ftw!! =)

  • does it overclock anything at will?

i dont want to risk having any hardware overclocked

  • You Wussy.... :)

  • When your easily reaching 60 C plus, its nothing short of chewing your hardware up pal

but apparently this program only overclocks triple core processors,

using advanced or basic profile shuts off all my vista probs :D

  • 60 deg C is the upper part of safe. I always aim to keep my processor below 50 deg C. I've seen some AMD processors run at 70 deg C for extended periods of time without even a hiccup.

  • Nice.I Love AMD Fusion Have worked at me !

I have an Phenom 8750 x3 and Sapphire TOXIC 4870 1Gb 780/4000Mhz and in Normla Have Give me:

12000 and With FUSION give me 14000.Nice Job AMD

AMD-ATI Radeon Best Choice in Gaming and FULL HD MOVIES.Bye

  • I feel safe now " *Disclaimer 2 "

  • Everytime I use it, I end up with a little less of a score.. Anyone have any ideas??

  • makes me feel bad for using an nvidia mobo and video card, good thing i`m with AMD cpus :D

guess my next 1 will be AMD only :))) .

  • Because it does nothing more then just shuts down the services that are not vital. Gadgets, themes, and so on. Its kinda mean, but effective and i hope that when i finish the gaming and turn off "fusion" everything will go back where its intended.

  • how come when i run it on advanced or expert everything on the screen except the fusion thingo disappear?

  • i'm an AMD user myself... cool video... show me more...

  • must build me a AMD PC...

  • overclocking...

  • downloaded it and install this bad boy. works like a charm. not a HUGE change but enuf to notice a difference. and hey AMD, did that college student in the vid design this download?

  • THIS OWNS, LOVE AMD FROM NOW

  • Man it doesn't work on XP, that kind of stinks but on my Vista Home Premium dual-boot it worked wonders

  • It works on mine hmmmm weird...

  • Works on my PC. Windows XP Pro 32-bit.

  • Ya I reinstalled it on my PC and it worked fine.. :D I guess I screwed up the first time..

Too bad it closes Xfire when you run it

  • cool

  • Looks decent, perhaps not a revolution but a wierd aspect nobody has truly been on before.

I'm certainly going to try this out in my future benchmarks on my AMD machine.

  • this is fucking awsome!

  • Very nice! Wish i had an AMD PC to use it with xD

  • Now all we need from AMD is a cpu that destroys the Nehalem.

  • Oh yes, I hope the Phenom X4 on 45 nm (Deneb) will do that

  • ??????????

  • i wouldnt trust a program that seems to shutdown services...

  • AAAAnd as usual doenst support vista 64..

  • yes it does. running like a dream on vista 64 ultimate SP1.

  • by sayin 4870 you mean the king.

  • Amazing, just tried it, AMAZING performance boost in Flight Simulator X and Crysis!
