@dropless2002 When he says 5 7 4 he's referring to the 5th from the root, 7th from the root, and 4th from the root.. NOT 5th fret, 7th fret, 4th fret...

@billbrunsie As a instructor on theory for years, the 4th mode and the 7th mode cannot be a whole step away from each other. In fact they are always 2 whole steps away from each other. Also, From your Root of B in either minor or major the 5th mode will always be F#. The 7th fret on the 5th string of a bass.

to anybody wondering, the bass fieldy is using in this video is his custom one....a one-off bass just for him...there are production models but this one is a one-off. so is munky's k7 in his behind the player video. the production models of the k5 are awesome though :D
