  • Great !! She knows

  • thanks for sharing these video. With the high expense of bringing dogs to pet salon, I would like to groom them myself now. Big help. :)

  • We use deShedder by Furminator and it is sooo great you can use it on cats and dogs and its great because we have a norwiegen cat and they have lots of fur and we have never seen our cat look so good (and so much dead fur come off) now he has soft fur and my god we got a lot of fur of him (OUR VET RECOMMENDED IT) it was 65 SFR it's not cheap but it lasts 10 cats if you dont leave it blade down so it becomes blunt but it's GREAT try it if you have a dog or cat with lots of fur!!!!!!!!

  • @soaa55 The furminator cuts your dogs coat. Look at the head, it is a blade for god sakes! I'm so tired of this company pushing this crappy product. If your dog has undercoat issues get a undercoat rake for Petes sake!

  • She's scary!

  • poor dog....

  • i prefer wahl clippers. They are light to use. I think she is using Andis or Oster clippers.

  • what's the best hair dog clippers? what brand and model? please thank you

  • @goldenspark4life She is experienced... so maybe not 0.o

  • this is boring

  • naw cute

  • ceirra: The groomer is showing the viewer how to clip the dog's belly. Of course, she is going to hold the poodle up (it is the best way to clip the tummy in my opinion with a small dog) and turn the dog so you can see what she is doing. DUH! BTW, those clippers are HEAVY. I've been grooming for thirteen years and I hate those clippers.

  • Excuse me, which brand will you recommend for a newbie? I wanted an Osters but clippers got lots of thumbs up D:

  • @SakumaRyuichiNG

I have been grooming 10 years, and I love my Andis AGC, Oster's are too heavy your arms will get tired very fast. I started with the regular Andis 2 speed and still own them. I tell you they are amazing clippers.

  • @Frenchie2722 Uhm, so Oster's are heavy.... no good... Andis then; thank you!! :D I shall look for them!

  • @Frenchie2722 i LOVE my andis 2 speed!!

  • Try a Wahl clipper, they don't get hot like the Osters do! Trust me, Oster is a bit behind, they just started to make a model with the cool motor, it has magnets, that is why they don't get hot like Osters do.

  • I would really love to be able to groom dogs profecinaly, does any one know were i can go to learn how?? Please note i live in York, england.

  • I would go to some of your local kennel club shows where you can wander around the grooming area and observe professional groomers do show dogs. I would also go to crufts to see what the dogs are supposed to look like but I do not know if you have access to the grooming area there. Then I would ask the groomers where you can get certified to groom - in places that will also certify you to do show dogs. With that knowledge you will not offend your better clients by butchering their coats.

  • Oh thanks. I don't know of ay kennel clubs near me. However i am going to Askham bryan college after i have finnished the corse i am on ow so that might open a few doors to me.

  • I saw that she did nothing wrong.....

  • This groomer has so much experience, she can probably groom a wild cat with her eyes closed. I love the way she holds the scissors, the clippers, and the light touch she has with her poodle. That poodle is so trained, and knows what the groomer is going to do, you can see the intelligence on the poodles face. She isn't nervous in the slightest regarding the groomer, she may not be interested in the clippers, but she isn't afraid of them, or of anything. Carolyn, please post more clips! Thanks

  • @themagicthimble you're being sarcastic...right?

  • @emiloveyouful

hiya.. sorry just saw this response.. uhm, no I meant what I said..

  • what did she do the dog? I didn't see her rough the dog nor did I hear the dog cry or yelp.

  • Rough?! She's barely touching the dog! That dog can easily get away. She's not pulling, the dog doesn't look like she's in pain.

  • that's how you're suppose to hold them, if they are light enough.

  • um...it seems like she's had some experience in her day...I think she knows what she's doing.

  • WTF? You have her body positioned ALL wrong.

  • Thanks!

  • she looks kinda dead and idk how she thinks people will learn to groom dogs in 1minute. think about it, if all groomers were trained in only 1 min on each topic, it would be scary!

  • She uses the dogs like an death instrument; like it's a toy or something; the dogs don't know whats going on; she doesnt talk or look at hem/her....the dogs became nerveus; see his mouth.

  • she gives good imformation and in 1;09 minites!

  • These videos are TOO SHORT!!! How to groom a dog in ONE MINUTE? Are you joking?

  • That's funny, I didn't notice that topknot. I'm just feeling sassy because I had to put my 12 year old best friend to sleep this week. I know you meant nothing bad in your earlier post. My point was just that those old Osters are crazy heavy but people like me who were trained years ago can use them with as much skill as with the new lighter ones. Glad I don't have to tho, my eyes are thankful for encased motors!

  • Those oyster clippers are SOOO old and heavy omg

  • Oyster? They're called Oster, I was trained with them and they are like dinosaurs but I could do just as good with them as I do with the light ones I use now. That groomer obviously knows her job and is comfortable with them. I think her poodle looks beautiful.

  • my bad for the typo, unfortunately I couldn't correct it after I hit post, but anyways... I am only commenting on the fact they are heavy and old. I didnt say anything about the job that she does, but since you brought it up...I am going to say that I dont think it looks good for the simple that that the topknot is lopsided....perhaps she wasnt done and it looked better after.

  • In my experiences, when something is "old and heavy," it just means that it was built well and with quality materials. That usually counts for anything, not just clippers. That's my opinion of course. Anything light and made of plastic just feels like a toy or something made in china.

  • I agree!! Even the new Osters are heavy. They are meant for professional grooming and any other brand cannot be depended upon to last. My last Oster clippers lasted me for 12 years and never let me down.

  • If the lady scares you, then I guess you must be a wimp who doesn't get out much....

  • This woman is frightening!! Is she on crack?

It looks like the dog is being hanged!

  • > This woman is frightening!! Is she on crack?

    > It looks like the dog is being hanged!

Standard leash on a grooming table. It's adjusted so the dog can't walk off, nor lie down. It doesn't hurt the dog, nor make it uncomfortable. It also allows you to work more quickly and safely and since grooming is a tedious job for both the groomer and the dog, it works out for everybody.

  • KKK?

  • BLUHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA

  • That lady scares me a bit.

  • omg u people get over yourself shes not killing the dog she is cleaning it why are you guys so dromatic

  • word, people on youtube are so fucking dramatic. she is just doing her fucking job

  • the language is a little much

  • bad language

  • I could say the same for you.

  • DRYES, the reason the first wild dogs became domesticated was because they were invaluable to man as alarmists for danger, scouts for hunting, protectors of person and property, exterminators of vermin, aids in herding livestock, aiding handicapp, companionship, the list goes on. I'm curious, DRYES, do you feel this way only about dogs or about all pets; because of course not all pets are working animals and are only kept for their beauty and companionship.

  • what r u Garfield? lol

  • you are a leech look at you you are on the internet which means using electricity which means you are damaging the environment alot more than dogs

and you have never littered or chucked gum on the ground

  • That's funny, because humans do all that too. :P

  • Dude stfu.

  • I hope that dog hasn't been bathed yet, that's an awful fluff dry on that poodle.

  • I was thinking the same thing :/

  • it would had been better if you gave more info and longer vid but good anyway.

  • kind of scary looking the way they tie the dog. What if they jump off the table and choke?

  • A good groomer never leaves a pet unattended on the table, the leash is for control,so the dog knows it can't run away.

  • ooooohhh pleasse.... more more!!!!!! what happened??? it started so gooooood!!!

    I need more.... hihi

  • yep. very good. please tell us more!!

  • Good start, but please give us more!

  • good video. could you try making it longer?
