it would have been very good, if such points were raised in the parliament debate on the deal. it is not fair to the indian people to not get access to a real, meaningful debate on the issue. i am sure your view would have got many more supporters if that happened - particularly as the youth are not really bothered so much about left, right etc but what makes sense. in the absence of any constructive ideas on india's energy needs coming from the left, they came across as US-phobic spoilsports.
