My CoolIT product failed within the first year of use in my PC. I couldn't find my org receipt, even though I could provide the serial number off the pump. So they won't even give an exchange. 100 dollars down the drain and a damaged PC. Before you consider the Corsair models, know they are also made by CoolIT. I suggest you go with Noctua instead.
@1002thebone Yep you go for it mate be my guest. Just enjoy getting your account banned for violation of the Community Guidelines. Get over yourself you silly cunt.
Think i will be investing in one of these kits. I was looking at buying an unrated cooler, but these go for around £40 now so i might just get myself one. Cheers for the vid, great tutorial.
Lol it still looks cheap :( why dont CoolIT make an ECO that has clear pipes nd have a UV colour that you pick,To me watercooling is the look aswell as performance just a thought for you :)
good video if you want to make the eco look even cooler in your case cover the hoses with 30cm Length of 13mm 3:1 UV Red Heat Shrink avalible from overclockers,co.uk .. this will shrink around the hoses as soon as your case gets warm and since its ultra violet it will look like blue, red or green coolant.. give it a go
before my AMD X6 1055t was giving my 60 - 70C at max load and now its down to 47C after an intensive exercise by Battlefield Bad company 2 ~_~ Very cool
@alexconingham i dont know why he say'd no to your comment but actually yes you can, the hoses connect to the radiator with barbs... this person did exactly what you asked.
He he. I would go for 2x Coolink SWiF2-120P fans. With these 2 babies coolit eco would be at least as good as Noctua NH-D14, but much more handy since it is not so heavy and won't increase the temperature in your case. Even only one coolink fan is enough since it's stock fan is pretty good.
If you are using it right now, would you try to mount it's fan on the other side of the radiator? I don't care if it still can be fixed on the case since I would have another fan.
Thankyou for your answer, will replace my i5 stock cooler soon.
@dkreventon Ok I just had a look in my pc, and you can't actually put another fan on it. Where a mounting hole should be, is where a water pipe is attached to the radiator :(
@BLaXXr Good questions buddy :) Yep, inside the system, it comes ready with the water inside the system.
And nope - thats why its so good! You NEVER have to change the water! You don't have to do anything to it, except dust it like you would a normal fan!
í would avid eco its not definate that you get better tempts me and other few guys brought this nad for some they were getting tempts around 32C while me and few others getting 40-55C which is just about stock fan tempt. therefore i advise people to stick with high end heatsink rather going into cheap water cooling like eco
I tested it with Arctic Silver 5 on this cooler on a i5 750 at 2.8ghz for 20 minutes. After the stress test of 20minutes the max temperature was 50C but the the thermal compound will be in full potential after 200hours of running the pc so..you know, very good cooler. With the pre-applied paste was doing 55C so it's a 5C difference with the Arctic Silver 5.
@BurnedMurloc Good question bud. From use, I've had pretty good results with the pre-applied thermal compound, but it can't hurt if you wanted max performance to put some artic silver on there :)
@80sguy33 I'm not sure buddy, I'm pretty sure they have different screw threads, so the cpu pump wouldn't be able to screw into your old back board if its different.
@Makavelian5408 No my pump is silent, might want to give coolit a shout on their support line. If you need any help with getting in contact give me a youtube message buddy :)
@ghostgaffdeck08 I have a very hot system in general. My case airflow is shit, but I also have two graphics cards running in there which REALLY ups the temperature, especially when one is a GTX 275... :P
hey my e4600 gets 59 on load, overclocked to 3.2ghz and a coolermaster hyper 212 + .... WTF?!?!?! U have an asus heatsink, and get THOSE temps with no OC? O___o rlly?

How can you polish the CPU from the Thermal Compound if you don't have 99% Alcohol thingys or something? Just with water or something?

@Rapagangsta Yeah you can just wipe it with a tissue, you dont even need to use water really. Just rub it till its clean :)

Check this video out (/watch?v=ti1MKPS8xfM&hd=1) and skip to 6:56, I see you can pot another 120mm fan since it would not interfeer with the pipes.

@dkreventon Ok yeah sweet I guess its possible then! I just shone my torch into my case so must have missed that. Cheers for the link bud!

Can I also put a second fan on it for a push and pull cofiguration?
Also, did the coolit eco box have it's own screws?
I would first use my old HAF 922 back 120mm exhaust fan and then buy something with a better airflow.

@dkreventon I'm pretty sure you can mate - and yes, It did come with its own screws :)
