You can re-map the shifter to be a handbrake. not perfect but it does the job (just use paddles to shift)

they had this at the place i went for drivers ed. so coming from a person who has used one the only downside is the pedals are really close and while wearing shoes its not hard to accidently press 2 pedals at once but im sure you can get used to it.

@SpankyOG The g25 shifter is flimsy as a D**** not turned on ( lol ) but the new version the G27 has a better shifter feel than the G25 but there is a way to stifffen up the G25 shifter.

I understand what your saying. But she is a perfect girlfriend, other than the fact that she doesnt want to watch me play video games ALL DAY. If I had this set up I would be playing ALL DAY, lol. she gives me my time but when i was single, besides work, this is all i would do haha. @maskeddude1997 You can if you buy the slider brackets. I didn't because the bar along the bottom is easily adjustable to slide back and forth depending on how long your legs are.

@cobratoxic $350 or so for the seat. They dont make the g25 anymore, but the g27 can be had for around $260 average. The price flexes because there are always different deals going on for that wheel.

No I thought it would, but your feet end up pretty close together that all you have to do is turn your ankle to hit both pedals.

@razerbots you will hit your ankle on it.. atleast 50 times. I tore it apart and rebuilt it so that there was no bar in the way. imo a cheap design.

Take it easy with the shifting mate, I know too many people with broken G25's and H pattern boxes., it happens very quickly if your that agressive with it. Mine's still going strong, nice and smooth changes are the way.

I can't go back to playing racing games now without it. It's really solid piece, doesn't move around at all. The center bar doesn't get in the way either.
