@thebryanexperience as if most rock bands aren't made up of exactly the same? It isn't a popularity contest it's rock n roll, and these guys made some great rock n roll, and put on a hell of a show.
Too bad they never got that big...This was the first show I ever saw about 11 yrs ago in Dry-Shitties...Probably the only good thing to came from that place :P
Great record..though they were a little late to the party..this should have came out in 95 or so..it came out in the garage rock explosion..so hives fans may have been tricked by their looks and bought it..because i see alot of used ones..and if its less than a buck..ill buy it and give it to friends..because it still is a great record.
My dad was the sound tech for Loudermilk. And for those who are sad about how the band never made it, at least the drummer did, Isaac Carpenter is in Duff Mckagan's Loaded. Check it out.
If you want I could upload all the MP3s to Mediafire and give you the link. The MP3s came straight off 'The Red Record' I bought at Music Machine in Kennewick the day it came out.
I loved this band since I knew of them back in 2002. I wish they were still around. Its really sad how the music industry stifles talented guys like these but plays the same audio turds from the same asses every few hours on the radio.
This band was on a rocket straight up and then they just fizzled out. I really like their music. If they would go back to being Loudermilk and just added a bit of the softer stuff from Gossling they would have it made. I'm a fan and I'm sure that there are tons of people who are too.
The Tom Selleck thing was a joke...but I'm curious, how does the owner of a tiny guitar shop in Kennewick, WA even begin to get a record deal for his son's band? And if he COULD arrange said deal, why didn't Duke sign one as well since his other son, Jason, played drums?
LOL @ the failure of Loudermilk.... fuck those guys.. egotistical pricks who are washed up hipsters! HAHAHAHA

Didn't Isaac get into Loaded because his dad was friends with Duff, though? Not judging, just asking.

This is what these guys should be doing.. The Gosling thing doesn't work for me.
This album is great. It has a mix of a little of everything. The Gosling stuff sounds too familiar.. Too "Beatles"...
Red Record is where it's at.
PS - for all of the people still looking for the Red Record, it's all over the place. eBay, Amazon, etc...
12Daze 1 year ago
@12Daze
I have to agree. I've never liked the Gosling stuff either.
Tekmatic 1 year ago
uhh yeah... Tom Selleck had nothing to do with the band name. It came from a mailbox on 12 ave. by the graveyard on 10th ave in Kennewick,
The guys name was Ronald Loudermilk he was a mean old man who is dead now.
Oh and by the way, Small and Ladybird are the best bands to come out of the Tri-Cities.
JabecoC 2 years ago
@JabecoC
Yeah, The Ladybird Unition was fucking awesome. I met them when they played live at Tri-Tech for us. Awesome band, great guys.
