Powered Parachuting 101: Take off into a headwind. There's obviously a pretty stiff crosswind there. Chalk another one up to pilot error.

good donor motor for a "real" ultraight,,,,AKA,,quicksilver/weedhopper/tbird/something that actually will perform awesome on that engine

Just one thing you forgot!! take off and land into the wind. That was your main problem. watch your chute and you will see tha wind direction.

1. Take off and land INTO wind
2. Cut engine off as soon as you touch ground
3. More throttle just before you land.
4. Don't Give up!
